Creating Your First WA Blog

As I'm working on publishing more Wealthy Affiliate blogs, I figured now would be a great time to give out some "beginner's advice" while some of what I'm creating is still in it's beginning phases. Though this is intended to motivate newer members, if any of you vetted members find this post useful I'd like to hear your feedback as well.

As some of you may still be learning your around WA and going through the initial training, you may get to a point where you become a bit on edge about writing your first WA blog.

So let me go ahead and just expose the elephant in the room...

INTIMIDATION...

For the past couple of weeks I have been soaring in my WA training, mapping out plans for this entire online business experience and making a lot of progress with my site, mainly getting the basics of the site established and even indexed in Google. (Yay!)

What I haven't been doing is making any successful attempts to post any WA blogs.

Again... INTIMIDATION...

Creating your first blog post can seem little scary if you're not really into writing or you're new to blogging all together. But it's not supposed to be scary at all, in fact the fun of it comes from the experience of putting it together. The freedom to be creative, talk about your experiences, and share your ideas... that's just a tip of the iceburg of what you can do here at WA!

Generally we put so much pressure on ourselves to think that our first post has to be perfect in all forms. Mind you perfection isn't nearly the goal, and you don't have to be a great writer either. Factual, relevant, interesting and transparent however... should all be components included in all of your posts. Be sure to weave your creativity and personal passion in as well, so that your posts have a presence that your audience can identify with YOU. That will definitely help to build your brand and the confidence of your readers.

The focus is just to write! The blog isn't going to create itself right?

Thanks for your tips here in your post

Definitely a journey in its self, when blogging the edit button can become a very good friend.

The best we can be is us, great insights Ruby.

I think a lot of times we want everything the be perfect the FIRST time and forget that the edit button is a saving grace for when we look back in the future and want to update something. So many times I've thought back about the content I could no longer edit because I was too comfortable scrapping the whole idea. Ugh! Lessons learned...
