Break Your Writer's Block (10 Content Ideas + FREE BONUS)
When I was going through my initial training here at WA I had a difficult time understanding the process of creating good quality content for my website. I was a little intimidated by the writing process because I hadn't written anything that seemed really worthy since writing term papers when I was in school. As I continued my training, sometimes even going back over different sections multiple times.. I realized creating content was something that a lot of other newbies faced as a bit of a challenge.
Like Kyle said… "Writers block is not allowed here at Wealthy Affiliate".
And he's absolutely right. None of us should really get stuck with writer's block (like I did for way too long) given the resources and the amount of interaction we have here. Not to mention there's an ENTIRE CLASSROOM full of videos, courses, tutorials and webinars dedicated to helping with creating content. Which I have to admit I wasn't taking a full advantage of all the resources I had as a member.

What I also hadn't taken into consideration was that writing blog posts wasn't my only option for creating content. The more I started understand the different types of content and how to use them, I began to really start brainstorming more relative and intriguing ideas that I was personally excited about posting. A WIN-WIN for both me and my audience.
Here's list of some different content type ideas you can use when creating your content.
- REVIEW (PRODUCT/SERVICE)
- INTERVIEW
- LIST
- HOW TO/TUTORIAL
- SHARE A FREE RESOURCE
- TAKE A POLL
- SHARE A FUN FACT
- HOLIDAY POST
- THROW BACK POST (REPOST)
- INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE
Something else really cool that I came across recently was a social media holiday calendar. Nothing trends harder on the internet than celebrations and holidays… and sometimes they don't even have to be official. Some of these holiday dates are great for content inspiration and a great way to take advantage of timing and having an edge to promote your business, brand or whatever you decide.
HubSpot has a downloadable calendar that you can extract from Google or you can just add their free public calendar right to your Google calendar like I did. (I use my Google calendar for EVERYTHING when it comes to scheduling)
