No matter of your "rank" in life.
So, there are many of us wearing wotk clothes, sweating, getting our physical excercise in ways, maybe not of our choosing.....
Perhaps it was difficult to stay abreast of things, knowing how expensive further education is in our world....
Does that mean we are left behind, perhaps older in years?
NO!
We have the tools of LIFE'S trade working for us to achieve our goals.....
Perseverence
Good Notes
The Will to Practice
Good Friends
Our Own Talents to Share
There is never a need to be downhearted about a "lack of education".
The path to achieving greatness lies in our Character and our Habits....

To assume that having a piece of paper with your name and school seal on it makes you smarter is like saying that having a ring on your finger guarantees you happiness! (for those who look down on the less educated)
I love how many educational resources there are online now. I am forever taking free classes through Coursera and watching online lectures through Harvard and elsewhere. I am the biggest supporter for anyone who wants to get more education and it is never ever too late to learn!! :)

So true, Therese and Jude. I remember the black and white television with only ten channel buttons. We only needed five! I also remember when the first telephone was installed in our house. On the wall. You had to actually get up when you wanted to make a call or watch TV. And to this day I hang out the wash, on a line.
All these old fashioned things were probably healthier for the body too, with all the moving around. Not too surprising there weren´t any gyms then yet.
But don´t get me wrong, I love internet, computers, and the digital bus stops, to name a few modern conveniences.
You are wise beyond your years, Therese. Just seeing your picture pop up puts a smile on my face! :)
What you say is absolutely correct Therese. You and I are around the same age and we didn't have the luxury of growing up with technology and didn't have computers in school. So while we may have come to this business a little later than some, it doesn't mean we are not capable or that we will automatically be behind the 'youngsters' who can write texts with one hand, play games with the other, while listening to our favorite music! We can ALL do this and that is the beauty of the step by step training we receive here at WA :)

You are right. Never judge a book by its cover nor the merits of an individual by his appearance. Wisdom is to be found in the many situations that life confronts us with. When the going gets tough the tough get going.
