Hello, Somehow I accidentally opened two WA accounts using two different e-mails. I need to delete the secondary one. How do you delete a WA account that you do not want open

Go to the profile pic in the upper right corner of the home page in the account you want to delete.. Click on it >account settings>subscription> scroll down to "delete account."

Thank you.

Thank you :)

I would leave Kyle a message on their profile message to delete

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle

It seems it is back to where it was, you can go here

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

Scroll all the way to the bottom and click Delete, once you do it cannot be undone. I'd be careful with it.

Thank you very much :)

You can indeed.

You may install the WooCommerce plugin which comes integrated with PayPal and Stripe payment gateways.

if you are going to do large sales, I'd recommend signing up with Stripe as opposed to PayPal.

PayPal seems to freeze large intake of revenue in a short while, that may effect your cash flow.

You can start a blog, online store, or a services website and add a blog whereby you update it with regular posts to drive organic traffic to your shop, services website, or merchant's websites and stores.

I hope this helps.

Hi - yes, you can. But ideally, you will need to continue to write blog posts, as that is how you will get ranked in Google's search engine results, otherwise, nobody will find you.

Okay, I see. That is helpful to know. Thank you for the feedback ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely. It's your website and you can do anything you want with it.

You can do this you just need a plugin to turn your WP site into an e commerce site

When you update your Profile information on your website, you see a box where the address of your website is listed. I noticed that the default is "HTTP". I don't like that.

https:// is the only way to go now.
You may find that GoDaddy will charge you extra to use https:// many hosting copies do. WA does not.
If you decide to stay with WA you may want to consider transferring you existing GoDaddy website to WA. To do so I would contact Site Support so things go smoothly with the transfer. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Thank you for the feedback. :)

I am not using GoDaddy's hosting service (called "Website + Marketing"). They offered a free 7 day trial, but I cancelled that.

I added my GoDaddy dot com site to WA on day 2 or 3. I did not use WA Site Support to accomplish that. Maybe that is why the SSL is in the "ON" position, but the WordPress Profile page was showing the "http" prefix instead of "https".

So, if I understand things correctly, I purchased the domain from GoDaddy, but WA is my host. When I go to "Site Manager", both of my websites are listed. I see activity in both the SiteRubix site and my dot com site. The dot com is already indexed.

Ok so GoDaddy holds the registration for your domain name. Make sure not to miss renewing. That works just fine.
So what you did was point the DNS for your domain name to WA servers .Primary: https://ns1.mywahosting.com

Are you aware you can host up to ten websites here, with your premium subscription to the platform?

And no worries, you're very welcome!

Yes, thank you. My intention is to build my own DOT COM site first, and then start building SiteRubix websites until I can afford to transfer those over to their own dot com's. I had to abandon building my dot com for a few days due to problems with the theme I purchased, and was just building it on the SiteRubix instead.

Eventually, I decided to just delete the theme I paid for for my dot com and switch to the same theme that is being used in the training. So, now I am building two identical websites except for the web address.

Well, today when I saw that my DOT COM is already indexed, I asked myself why I am making extra work for myself. I am going to focus solely on the dot com site until it is doing well enough to start another niche site. I have a LOT of content to write for just the first website.

Not using their hosting for my dot com. I am using WA/SiteRubix for hosting the GoDaddy domain.

Yes I do remember now thank you.

I appreciate you clarifying. And no worries!

You're always very welcome, Theresa!๐ŸŒž

I read some of your comments below. Is the content in your siterubix.com website the same as what is found in your GoDaddy site? If so that is duplicate content and you cannot do that. If you plan on staying with WA, I would recommend you transfer your GoDaddy site to WA. You premium membership provides hosting for 10 websites.

Do you have any traffic yet? Traffic is important for sales. The affiliate program owner usually reviews your site. There is no definite number but do you have 15 - 20 new posts on your site for them to see.

I'm only on Day 5 of the training. No, I don't think I have any traffic yet, and no I do not have 15-20 posts on my site yet. I only have an About Me post and a Privacy page. I had problems with the theme I purchased for my GoDaddy site and was forced to abandon building that page and build it on SiteRubix instead.

Then I decided to just delete the theme I purchased (through WA's list btw), and change the theme to the one used in training called "Generate Press". This allowed me to go back to building my business on my GoDaddy site. I do not have hosting through GoDaddy. I added my GoDaddy site to the WA Site Manager.

So, I purchased my dot com through GoDaddy, but WA is the host, if I understand it correctly.

No, I will not be building two sites with duplicate content. I will only be building the GoDaddy dot com for the niche I selected. I have now deleted the SiteRubix site.

Thank you for the feedback. :)

Got it. Thanks.

You were perhaps flagged for some reason I would reach out to their support and inquire within.

https://impact.com/contact/

Okay, thank you :)

Let us know how things go for you.

Were you using a VPN?

No, I don't think I have VPN anymore since I cancelled Lifelock.
I found this on the web and wonder if I have to wait 32 days from the day my WordPress site was created before applying with some vendors:

"New URL
Identifies sites that have been registered within the last 32 days. New domains are frequently used as tools in malicious campaigns.
Default Policy Action: Alert
Recommended Policy Action: Block
Newly-registered domains are often generated purposefully or by domain generation algorithms and used for malicious activity. It is a best practice to block this URL category."

I will contact Impact on Monday. Another thing I wonder about is if there is a risk alert generated because I am building the SiteRubix website and the GoDaddy domain at the same time. Duplicate content.

Some programs may not work with a siterubix subdomain, they prefer a dot com domain. They also want to say relevant content addressing issues in relation to your focused niche website and TRAFFIC before they are able to accept you.

Okay, thank you. I did jump ahead of the training by applying already. I will let you know what their reply is. Thanks again :)

No worries, and you're very welcome!

I did the same thing. I transferred my Go Daddy site here and learned the ropes with my siterubix.com site. God Daddy just informed me that they had relinquished my original domain name.

I am sad to hear that you lost your domain that you purchased from Go Daddy. Did you have it for one year and then lose it after not renewing the subscription? I hope they did not just sell your site out from under you. I would think that is illegal. I would be finding a lawyer if that happened.

I transfer it everything To the WA Domaine and let the go daddy domain name go After a couple of years..... Once in a while, I check on it And it's still available.

Oh, that's good. Having your own dot com is a great thing, so I am glad the one you want to use is still available if you decide to copy your WA domain to your own website.

Here are my thoughts.
Go through the training using the free siterubix.com website so that you have some knowledge of what goes on. You can pretend that you are writing your About me page for your purchased domain name and you can always copy its content to the one you purchased. You can find keywords for the niche you are passionate about and use those for your purchased domain name. When you are taught how to write posts you can either create them directly into your purchases domain or copy them. We use the siteuribx.com site to decide how we want to design our site, etc.

What you could do is ask Site support to COPY (not move) your purchased domain to your free domain and work on the free domain and then when you are ready ask Site support to COPY your developed free sitreturx.com site back to your purchased domain name site.

If you COPY your purchased domain to the free siterubix.com website see what happens if you deactivate I am assuming Woocommerce plugin for ecommerce.

You may have more questions. .

Thank you so much for that detailed advice! I am going to copy and save everything you wrote and follow that as I go along. I just learned in the training today how to choose which site I want to publish to after I have created content using the WA platform. Loving WA more and more every day! Thanks again :)

Glad this helps you.
So glad you are liking WA. We think it is such a great place to be too.

Hi, I am tagging you again on this original question of mine so you can fully see what happened. The comment you made about duplicate content is on my other question about fixing a high risk URL.

>The theme mentioned above in the question (Superb Themes - Natures Sunset) on my GoDaddy site has been deleted.
>I am now using the theme that is used in training (Generate Press).
>My SiteRubix page has now been deleted.
>My GoDaddy site is listed on the Site Manager and is fully functional. It has already been indexed by Google, even though all that is on it right now is an About Me post and a Privacy page.

I intend to reapply with Impact using the GoDaddy URL now instead of the SiteRubix URL that I originally submitted to them. They will probably reject me again because there are not enough posts yet.

Thanks again for the feedback. :)

Okay thanks for explaining.
We wish you well.

In the first instance, I'd reach out to the theme developers for any help or support you may require.

You can do if you like totally up to you.

If me, I do what is best and favorable to my business.

I really like your answer. Thank you!
