What’s with the “High Ticket” stuff?

First off, why do they call it high ticket? Why don’t they call it high price? Probably, because people don’t like high prices. LOL

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of high ticket affiliate offers. I believe most of them are from that program that David Sharp has created.

To succeed, it is either high ticket, or high volume.

Or... A hybrid combination of both.

As, almost always, I am an advocate of a hybrid combination of both. A traditional and still proven method of marketing is having a little barrier point of entry with a low priced product, which leads to upsell‘s into the high ticket products which make the profit.

The low priced offers are being sold at a loss.

The profit is made once the customer is acquired, and you sell them higher-priced upsell’s.

Do you have this strategy in place?

The question is: Do you rather sell something cheap and follow up with an upsell? I think this is the way to go. If you can sell something cheap, you already have the attention of the customer, which you can do an upsell later. The "hook and sink" method.

I see people sell something with no upsell. The point is that they already factor in their profit with the single or one time sale. If the product costs$15 dollars and they have another part of the product as an upsell for $20, they would combine the products parts as one and use that like a discount by offering the customer to pay $29.99 as a special deal. They would rather get this amount than get only $15 dollars. All the best!

Still struggling.

Selling high ticket products takes a lot of research, planning and marketing. The content needs to be powerful, dynamic and more than their expectations. The rewards though will be worth pursuing.

I have been stung once, never again

Frankly, I would stay away from anything David Sharpe has created. He and the other David, David Wood were behind Empower Network which was nothing but a digital MLM garbage. Some of their top tier products were going for a couple of thosands of dollars. EN eventually collapsed and a lot of people lost their money.
