What if “training“ has little to do with making money?

One of the common elements I have seen on my years of online marketing, is training, training, training, training, training!!! Coaches, consultants, teachers, trainers, all offering their expertise knowledge and wisdom.

Do you really need training to plant an apple tree?

To plant an apple tree, you stick a seed in the ground, water it, keep it moist, take care of it, nurture it, it will grow.

To build a business, you generate leads, build relationships, and earn sales.

Could it be that simple?

Training gives you a starting point and some bright orange construction pylons to mark your way. The trick is figuring out where and how to put the pylons. Build a relationship, drop a pylon. Pylons get noticed and you get a lead. Plant another one pylon. Keep making connections. Before you know it you’ve got multiple paths all leading to where you want to go.

Do you training all the time? No. Do you need it to start? Yes IMO.

All the training, books, learning, gurus, webinars, seminars, coaches, mentors, et...in the world will not help you make one penny unless you APPLY that knowledge.

Yep, gotta swing the bat, or you will never hit the ball.

I think training is necessary but you shouldn't train more than you work. You can learn a new thing per week and succeed generally as long as what you learn is put in work consecutively then you are likely to win. I wouldn't have learnt anything in affiliate marketing if there wasn't any training so we need it.

Yes and no. I’m a pilot. I would have killed my self without training. After training, flying was simple. Business can be like that.

It definitely can be done without training, as proven by people who have done just that.

That said, just like the person who built the first car. It took years, trial and error, experiments and failure to get one running.

No one just decides now to figure out how to invent a car. They learn how to build a car from people who have succeeded at it.

It's more efficient not to waste time reinventing the wheel when you can succeed faster learn what others have discovered.

I expect that's fine for a tree but running a business is different. If you don't at least learn the basics how are you going to know what you are doing?

You are correct!

The Basics - that is exactly what I’m talking about.
