Social Media Censorship— Is it real?
So tell me! What do you think? Are we being censored and manipulated by the big social media tech businesses?
In my opinion, yes.
I believe we are being controlled and manipulated. What we put out in content, is not being fairly distributed. Platforms are controlling what we write, and what we say. even, if we are allowed to write certain content, that does not mean it is being seen.
As a marketer, it seems like the world today, is a pay to play game. And, even if you do pay, you are still being limited as to what you can say.
As an example, on Facebook, they limited the amount of text on the images. Why is that?
Also on Facebook, they do not like affiliate marketers or network marketers. Why is that?
There are YouTube influencers, that are screaming about being demonetized, for one reason or another. Why is that?
We may think we have freedom of speech here in the United States of America, but not on social media.
We may even think that we are freely consuming information, but we are not. What one individual reads online, is not the same as what another individual may be reading. Even if it’s the SAME article. Some paragraphs can be omitted, and other paragraphs can be inserted.
No wonder it’s so hard to earn money as an affiliate marketer.

Case in point. I tried to publish this, and a red notice came up that said I needed to publish only original content.
This was original content, that came out of my mouth through my head as I was speaking it.

I permanently left Twitter some time ago.
I have greatly reduced my presence on FB and if it weren't for staying in touch with family, I would leave there as well.
So very sad, but that's the reality today.
Censorship and misinformation everywhere.

Yes, Brad, I believe you are right about the controls of social media. I only received one of the red notices on something I wrote. Like you, the post was all out of my own head. Later I realized it may have been something I had published before on the subject that got me red noticed. After all "great minds think alike" don't they. LOL
