SEO: A Game of Skill or a Game of Chance

Yes, I have come to a conclusion.

Given the plethora of opportunities I have had attempting search engine optimization, and looking at the exorbitant fees that a SEO company charges, I've come to the conclusion that SEO is a game.

Does this game require skill?

Certainly it requires some knowledge, however the game is always changing. Therefore any skill that might be acquired as well as knowledge that is acquired may go unnoticed.

The game of SEO appears to be more of a game of chance. Roll the dice again. Spin the roulette wheel. Pull the handle on the slot machine.

Do these things a lot. Create Content. Lot of it. Different keywords, different topics, post, post, post.

Eventually, you will hit the jackpot.

now, reinvest your winnings.

It’s the Perfect Solution for what we don’t know so Post, Post, Post & Analyze the tarot cards to the finish line. A gamble that is good as any, but remember that Quality is better than quantity!!! Excellent post Brad.

Good post and very true about SEO. SEO copywriting, now there is a good niche, different to SEO and very potent when got right

Game of Chance, Brad?
Opportunity knocks, but are we ready?
My luck usually depends on some of my prior knowledge.
I'm not going to a slot machine that just had a big payoff! LOL
SEO techniques from WA are included, so no throwing away dollars on a company for this gal!
Take the risk and try different techniques and see what works, but there seems to be a "Method to SEO Madness" .

There are always so many variables that drive SEO and this makes it difficult to know what to do next. Jim

I agree with you Jim. The Internet is dynamic and always changing. So, I keep throwing stuff against the wall and hope it sticks.

A Great analogy, Brad! I hope everything is going well!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff! I am doing well. I hope you are as well.

I'm glad to hear that, Brad, and I am doing as well as can be expected at this point!
