The idea that our humanity becomes robotic and digital. Simply based on logic with no emotion.
Do you attend Networking Events to build your business? I admit, I do. However, I really do not like it.
Why?
Most people when attending a business networking event, do not even see past the first layer. Most are trying to make direct sales. So, while walking around a networking event, I feel like I have a sign on my back that says "sell me something".
I don't even like the term "Networking Event", because it sounds so un-human. I prefer the term "Business Social" instead.
Yes idea is also applicable in our affiliate marketing world where we are looking for customers to purchase our product or work with us in our affiliate teams.
You may have heard the idea that people buy from emotion, and justify with logic.
How are you incorporating emotion into your blog posts and landing pages?

I do my best to somewhat personalize my blog posts, Brad. It makes them seem more earnest and real. When I do a landing page eventually, I'll also incorporate that same philosophy there too!

It is true, that when I go to "network" events, I do feel as if I am there to sell and be sold to. I understand the concept of getting people together and allowing you to expand your "network", but it does feel "salesy" to me.
I have never been good at sales in person, but online I am better able to engage people.
Some people are born to soles, others are not.
