I am Starting to get Traffic but is it Aligned
Getting traffic to your website is a primary objective. However what if you have your ladder up against the wrong building?
By that I mean, what if the traffic that is coming to your website is not relevant to what you are offering. That can easily happen, because people put different words in search engines, and there are a lot of opportunities to find things on a plethora of platforms.
Sometimes it may seem like a perfect match, however the results may not reflect in that match.
As an example, I am in the event planning industry. I produce a local tradeshow for EVENT PLANNER is to find resources for their event planning business.
For this specific business, I use Facebook advertising to reach these event industry professionals.
Seems like a perfect match.
In theory, this seems like a perfect match. However I think the majority of people on Facebook are... questionable.
What I mean by that, is the data inside the Facebook advertising platform is not necessarily human generated.
Also, the way that the algorithms are set up, you need to spend thousands of dollars to make a significant impact. If your profit margin is not great enough, you will be losing money.
Marketing is so very important. Much more important than the functionality of a website.
Simply put. Do you need a product. You need a way to pay for it. And you need someone to buy it.
That’s it.
Sounds simple, but it’s not. There are thousands of variables. One is the trust factor. Do they trust you?
You are probably losing thousands of dollars because people go to your website, learn about the product, then go elsewhere to buy it from a reputable trusted sourse.
