My Three Month Anniversary
I’ve been blogging for 3 months now and Amazon Associates remembered with a nice note:
“We are reaching out to you because you have not reached the required Qualifying Purchases for your account. As a reminder, Associate accounts that have not referred three Qualifying Purchases to Amazon.com within 180 days of sign-up will be closed. At this time, you have 90 days left to drive purchases to avoid the closure of your account.”
Wasn’t that sweet of them?
My blogging has decreased over the last couple of weeks. Real life has been intruding as it often does. Maybe this little billet-doux is just the kick in the butt I needed to get back at it. Meanwhile, I have also been branching out to other affiliate programs. Some of these are a little complicated. Amazon makes it so easy, but other members have admonished me not to put all my eggs in Mr. Bezos’ basket.
I like FlexOffers. Has anyone had any success with that? What affiliate programs are your favorite?
Now, I’m not sure what to do. Should I concentrate on more product reviews or on provocative blogs to increase traffic? I know, I know, both.
Speaking of increasing traffic, what other methods have other people been using and with what degree of success? I’m already on most other social media platforms, but they are time consuming and have born little results.

Hi, try eBay Partner Program, you don’t need any qualifying sales to stay in it.
They double your commission in the first three months, so you may want to wait till your site sees some traffic though.

If Amazon kicks you out, you just have to apply again, don’t worry about it.
Hi - yes, you can apply again immediately, but you are given a new ID and have to swap all links over, which is no fun!
