Don't Be Afraid To Reach Out To Others

There's a common stereotype or feeling that some people tend to get that they don't want to be spammy or they don't know how to effectively engage with others by reaching out to them. Simply carry yourself professionally and shoot a website an email or message if they have a contact page form or address posted.

For product creators or resellers this can be crucial for launching a product or rebranded service successfully. As an example, recently as an experiment for a product, I am developing, I reached out to more than 100 affiliate marketers, bloggers, and social media influencers.

This allowed me to do a few things:
1.) Network with others in the niche/field
2.)Start allowing them to see my name so if they see my name or my product in the future they may recognize it.
3.)Some of them said they would want to see the completely finished product and then they may be willing to promote it as an affiliate.
4.)I was able to add 38 people to a mailing list because they said they want me to email them when the product is complete and they will be affiliates.

Here's the email template I used to reach out to them:

Hello,

I see you're in (insert niche here). (Insert Name of person or team doing the launch) is launching (Insert Name of product or service) on (Insert date of the launch). This is a great opportunity to become an affiliate as this product did see good traction during testing or during demonstrations on (enter name of social media platform) To learn more check out (Enter a page people can go to and see more information about the project for example with affiliate products affiliate marketers often create a joint venture or JV page), (Give a couple of sentences briefly explaining the product/service and what problem it solves) (If you will be doing a contest or offering bonuses to affiliates enter the details for that here, or tell them to check that part out on the JV page you previously linked to.)

(Then to present yourself as confident in the product or service write something like:

"We hope to see you apply as an affiliate soon, so we can make money together") (You could also tell them the cost of the product and the commission percentage they will earn here as well)

Being respectful close with something like:

"Thanks for your time,"

(Lastly, Insert Your name or name of the team launching the product or service)

This allows you to build some recognition for your product or yourself, helps you network with others, and can greatly help you launch a product, service, or business online.

Hopefully, this has helped to teach some of you that getting outside of your comfort zone can be complicated but with the right strategy you can present yourself as a professional and get some help to build your online business in the process.

Please note this is much different than just blatantly spamming people or begging them to promote your services or offer. This is tactful and presents them with an opportunity that could be mutually beneficial.
