I'm working on writing a best seller.
If anyone has written a book or would like to help provide support and feedback, feel free to reach out. Thanks for all your support.

Update. Dumped the book I was working on. I Put it on the back burner, for a book I have more immediate passion for. With two weeks into it. I've written over 20 chapters with a plan for around 50 some. It'll be a book directed to teens all about getting a job, and the value of work and continuing education outside the classroom.

Thanks for all your support.

I am an author. What sort of book are you writing. You can send a private message.

Awesome!!! I'm writing a self help book on reaching for ones infinite potential.

Great goal Evan! A helpful tip: do a search for online organizations/ forums. I've received tips for writing in children/youth categories, current interests, and fiction. Point is each has its own tone/style of writing. Much was free and provided some solid tips/advice. Forgot who, but someone here had expressed interest in a writers guild.
I've done technical writing/editing for years. Personally, leaving the tech stuff behind me feels like the binding was cut on my wings. Love editing any but my own, lol! In school we were advised to put what we wrote aside for 24 hours. Then go back to read it with a fresh eye and perspective. Kinda like seeing the wrinkles in your clothes with the light on!
Know your target niche as in how they like to be 'spoken' to, just as the advice we receive here at WA constantly reminds us. In a book there is a time (space/length) to be warm and inviting, then to get solid into the 'meat' of your solid content. Even in informative content, you can't leave your reader hanging without a conclusion. Providing references is key too.
You can PM if you'd like. Just getting back to work from MIA due to family life changing circumstances. Looking forward to doing more!

Thanks for your response. Valid input. Good to know.

If you write fiction send me a PM. I'll tell you what I know.(won't take long) I have two novels out there waiting to be read. I out till morning now.

Thanks so much for your response. I'm working on non fiction right now. That is awesome that you have some books out. Some people only dream of writing and publishing a book.

Hey Evan! I have just started writing children's books (I am going to publish my first this week!). It depends on what you are interested in writing - fiction or non fiction and who your audience would be.

That's awesome! In all honesty I've been working on non-fiction books. Right now I'm working on a non fiction book on self improvement. That being said. I would still like to publish children's books one day. I think I would enjoy revisiting some fairy tales and changing things up a bit. That is awesome to hear!!! Power to you! That's so exciting! ;)

Self-improvement can be a huge section! maybe one way to think of an idea would be to go to amazon and type in "self-improvement book for" and see what suggestions would come up. Much like the alphabet soup technique with keywords!

Would you be interested, or do you think others might be interested to get a more personalized prospective of me and what I'm up to as an entrepreneur?

If I did this I'm

What kind of things might one light to hear about an entrepreneurs journey along the way?

If I were to make these videos, how personal might they be, and how long? Any thoughts?

Admittedly I'm concerned that I don't have the right setting (back drop etc. for these videos) just yet, as we as a full understanding as to the look I should assume. Any thoughts?

Do it! Listening to the journey of an entrepreneur can really add authenticity, more like the viewer is part of what you do. You can add much to your branding with body language picked up by the viewer. While you're doing it could you provide tips for the rest of us?

Thanks for your valuable feedback. What kind of tips did you have in mind? Tips on making a Vlog, or on being an entrepreneur?

oh, making of the Vlog... and if you had uncovered any do-or-don't bits of advice along the way those would be helpful too. You've been an encouragement with anything that you have shared. I've listened to some just speak of "how they made it" as an entrepreneur who after a bit you just tune out some of what they say. Others are just very charismatic speakers. From the perspective of someone beginning, the process of the journey could provide incentive in its own way.

Okay, I see what you are saying. Thanks for expounding on your thoughts. You have a good point.

I think it's a great idea, if you are doing well and want to share it, do! I personally joined on here after scams when I found someone truly wanted to help and had experienced the same, go for it :-)

Thanks. Great encouragement. It's true there are a lot of scams out there, and the thought of doing this really come about because I want to be sure I come across as authentic and honest in my personal branding.

Definetly and if you are telling your story I'm sure it will come across as honest :-)

Great idea! I'm sure you will find a lot of people are interested in learning from true life experiences.

Thanks for your input and prospective. Much appreciated.

Let me know when you start posting would love to follow your story!

Okay, for sure.

Do you have questions about Branding & Marketing?
Lets start a discussion....

Branding means to me: exposure! People recognize who you are. That would include WA, Twitter, facebook, Pinterest, LikedIn, Google+, and a host of others! Marketing is what we are learning here and doing on our websites, using Affiliate Links, content writing, key word search, interaction with visitors to our sites, fonding ways to increase traffic, newsletters, giveaways, partnering, outsourcing, SEO, contributing to social media, learning, doing, sharing, networking, helping others, blogging within WA and I'm sure there is much, much more!
Ed

Thanks for sharing Ed! There is definitely a lot to it. I have just begun working on developing some training around the basics of branding, and how we can learn from businesses that have gone before us. I personally find branding to be very simple in many ways, yet I am working to break it down and define it as to share it with others. If there's anything anyone would like to know, I'd be happy to include it in my research.
-Evan

As you have worked the Grizzly into your site...does branding an alias or nickname work out with success?

Most definitely. My Grizzly Mentor recommended it.

Nope, I didn't care to take the time...Would you be interested to learn about how I am tying the Grizzly into my business? etc?

Did you draw that Grizzly bear yourself? :)

You're funny Leland!

How do you find or write a terms and conditions & privacy policy page for your websites?

I went to Google to get a free template, went through the process and then they wanted $85 to put it on my site.I told them I couldn"t do that. They were real nice and let me keep the custom made download but it is in code and will take a programer to put it on my site....................Marty

The private policy is in Course 1 Lesson 9
Hope this helps.

I Guess you know, I was going to give the answer below :)

That was part of a lesson I done.
Ed

Digger has beaten me to it I was just going to give you the same link.

Hi try this and the search bar here at WA
