Write Your Plan

Write down what you plan to do and you'll find that it's far easier to take action and get it down. There is one way you can focus your energy toward your goals and dreams.

You're far more likely to accomplish what you're after when you write about it. This may take a few minutes but it's worth it.

If you are struggling to get things done, then you might want to try writing down what you plan to do in advance. This helps you to focus your energy on what you want. This also helps to keep you accountable, and aware of how you are doing. It helps you to measure your movement, progress, and actions.

When you write down your goals and dreams you define them. You determine what they are. You can get specific and really hone in on them in finite detail. Then you can clearly track your progress, so you can evaluate how you are doing, and the actions you're taking. This helps you act. It's always easier to take action when you have a clear plan. Writing it down will therefore help you to know when you got there.

How are you to prove to yourself and others that you have achieved your goals if you never wrote them down? (I would always include the date on each page you write on. This helps you to reflect where you were at and how far you have come when you look back.)

So today's message is to write about your goals, dreams,
vision, purpose, plan etc!!!

Take things one paw at a time, but try and write about where you're gonna place your paw ahead of time. This makes things so much easier. Of course things won't be easy, you'll still struggle, but it will be easier.

Yes, it's been proven over and over again that once goals are written down it certainly makes the future more realistic and achievable........just do it and it will continue to amaze!. Thanks for sharing, Johan.

Thanks for joining the conversation. So true. These are things we need to remember. Glad you enjoyed the post. All the best to you.

I agree writing down your goals really helps. I have not done that yet, but I definitely need to start so that I accomplish each day what I feel I should! Great post!

Glad you enjoyed the post. Sometimes it can be hard to do something new. Just make the time, and push yourself to see the results that you set out to accomplish. I always get more done when I write things down. Just take things one paw at a time, and keep moving forward. :)

I agree. When I write things down I get more done as well. I have a visual of what I need to accomplish and don't go about things willy, nilly.

Totally! Power to you. Admittedly I'm a little ADD and writing things down helps, but retaining my focus is a continual effort. Everyone is different.

Very true!

To write them down makes a big difference. And when I set the date, draw that finish line, works even better.

Writing is so powerful isn't it?! How do determine the dates you set? Sometimes it can be hard to know how much work, effort, and time will be required to reach your goals.

It depends on the project. Some of them I know I will make it on time when it all depends on myself. But some projects are bigger and more complicated and it's better to set couple weeks extra. But not too much extra time because that could make you just to slow down. And that is no good, for sure.

Okay,...fair enough. Thanks for sharing.

I f I could just rememembvere how to speall.

Haha , great post and true dat!!

I have posties all over my desk, puter and sleep area to keep from losing great advice, great words and keep me going in one direction, not 20.

Posties are always good (In moderation, too much and it could risk becoming clutter). It is so important to write things down that help you to focus.

Yes I do write them down and copy them and put them where I will see them every day at any time all the best Max

Awesome! By copy them do you mean write them more then once, or type them out? Keep up the good work.
-Evan

type them out all the best Max

Great article! I prefer writing my goals on paper as well and keeping them where I can see them frequently, definitely helps keep me focused.

Awesome sounds like writing down goals is a big deal to you. Glad you enjoyed the article. Where do you put your goals so you can see them frequently? So true writing helps us focus. Power to you.

Thanks Evan, I keep them on a wall close to my computer where I spend a lot of time.

Totally makes sense. Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I got post-its on the wall by my computer too! (Quotes/Life Notes)

I agree - good old pen and paper works every time!

Glad you liked the post. Totally. I'm not one for typing out my plans and goals. I like to use pen and paper. It's like creating a motivational work of art.

Absolutely!
