Confession - I need to learn how to become better at communicating

I'm gonna be totally honest with you. It's not easy for me to connect with people, unless of course I can find comfort in commonality. If I find things I have in common with people, and don't have to leave my comfort zone, then I can hold a conversation and be nice. If I can't then I struggle.

My struggle doesn't really come from no having things to say, or not knowing the first thing about communication, where I fall short is in giving people a chance. (This is the brutal honest truth, and I gotta face it.)

Have you ever suffered from the what's in if for me syndrome? I know what it's like, and I want to face it. I might have to experience some more growing pain, but no pain no gain right?!

Today I met my Grizzly Mentor in the Den. He laid into me, all in an effort to get me to cut the cub and make the choice to be a bear. fur was every where, teeth nashin, with roars of confrontation.

My Grizzly Mentor challenged me to do what I need to do to make some changes. One of which was to come to you, in an effort to find people to talk to face to face. No just messaging, and chatting, but through skype etc. This is in a large part because I crave face to face communication over texting.
