Taking Action Quickly

Change is always difficult.

One reason change is so challenging is because change requires us to set priorities. Causing us to neglect some things and in turn accept other things.

You and I both know that things we do and things we don’t do affect how successful we can become. It’s not just about losing bad habits, its about refining who we are, and building new and empowering habits.

Sometimes we freeze or become sluggish when faced with the opportunity to make changes or take action.

We tend to naturally think about the possible out comes. We weigh the risks, and have to decide whether we will act or not.

Our most dangerous opponent is always ourselves.

Sometimes we need to have more courage to take a leap of faith.

The faster we can take action, the faster we can learn from that action. We can quickly determine if it was worth while. We can determine if it was a good choice. If we never take action we can never know how things would have turned out.

Even small steps in the right direction can help us gain the mental motivation we need to keep moving forward.

How did you feel when you got your website up and running? Made your first blog post? Saw some positive comments come your way?

Sometimes the small and the simple seems insignificant and mundane, when in reality they are the stepping stones that lead us to unlock our potential, find our path and begin our journey to the summit of achievement.

You and I have to continually work on taking action.

Whether it be in our personal lives, or in our professional lives the more action we take the more we can learn and progress.

Sitting idle weighing things out can only take us so far.

The sooner we take action the sooner we can build our confidence.

Our confidence grows as we make progress, no matter what the size. So long as we accomplish things that move us forward we are building ourselves up.

Have you ever set out to do something, and after you did you felt good realizing you are making progress?

Does getting things done make you confident, or being lazy and slow build your confidence?

Just think about it.

One thing I’m working on is getting better at taking action and finding consistency.

I have personally noticed that although it is easier to be slow and sluggish when I take action I feel better at the end of the day.

The faster you and I get at taking action the faster you and I can learn and progress.

It might be hard, but as with everything we just have to remember to take it one paw at a time and stick with it.

One paw at a time indeed! Thank you :)

You're welcome. Thanks for stopping by to check out my post.

Well put. Change is hard, but it's the only constant in the world, so I guess I'd just better get used to it.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the post. So true everything is always changing. Getting used to it doesn't seem very willful. I would try and harness change in whatever way you can, and use it to your advantage. etc.

Hey grizz well said. I love it. I was watching a movie about these 3 girls that made in the record business. It's a inspiring story. Should I share wat I watched last night?

Glad you enjoyed the post. Sure go ahead and share -what you learned- from the movie you watched last night.

Okay.

Another good post Evan. This one most definitely highlights my inability to act most of the time and yes it is fear that holds me back.

The more encouraging posts that i read here at WA, help to drive me in the direction I need to go.

Thank you
Tommy

Glad you enjoy my posts. Fear holds most of the world back. When we make any choice it is either motivated through our faith or our fear. Just take things one paw at a time and do your best to be optimistic. I'm sure you're doing better than you think. I'm happy to hear that encouraging posts help you.

Your Welcome
Evan

So true Grizzly. I had a lot of time off from my website over Xmas and my confidence fell and my anxiety increased. Now I'm back in the swing and feel great again. Janelle

I know what you mean. Sometimes taking a break can make it hard to jump back into the swing of things. Power to you for getting back at it. I wish you all the best in 2016.

Your post is so true! It's about putting your dreams into action and start reaping the benefits of your work! I also enjoy the quote from Harvey Specter. I will use it as a motivator!

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. You enjoy suits too?! Sometimes its hard, but you just gotta keep working at it.
