Simplify the Hunt.

At the beginning of each year it is natural for us to think of the goals we will set to achieve more / and become better in the year to come. Our goals can be compared to a hunt that we as the bears of the internet marketing world have planned to make.

I thought I'd share some tips on reaching goals, and having a successful hunt.

To achieve more than ever, we have to be able to do consistently the things that move us toward our goals.

You and I have goals. But do we actually have the ability to reach them?

Our ability to reach goals is found in our ability to find personal clarity, and understand what we truly want to accomplish and what we can do to accomplish them is crucial.

One this is sure, even when we feel when know what we want to accomplish, and have identified tasks that will move us toward our goals we can still feel trapped in our cave. We feel like we want to hyphenate, cause we have so much on our minds.

It is simple for you and I to find things we can do that we want to do, but the challenge lies in breaking down our tasks into the size that actually feels simplistic and doe able.

This doesn't mean that these tasks will be simple, they can be challenging, but the challenge you face should not feel large enough to stop you from doing the task.

Once you have broken your goals down into simplified tasks, rather than large seemingly burden-sum tasks that feel frightening you then have to create a plan to work on the tasks.

The is a wide variety of ways to go about scheduling when you do everything, what matters is that your schedule pushes you to do more, moves you toward your goals, and helps you to have time to develop personally.

As with everything these practices don't become easy and ritualistic over night. They take time to implement consistently. What is key is to not give up, and push yourself to continually keep working at it.

You have to be sure to give yourself room to grow. You cant expect results instantly. So don't beat yourself up if things don't seem perfect right away, just keep working at it.

Chances are you will accomplish much more when you are relentless in your imperfect efforts to improve than you ever could simply trying to determine the easiest strategies and plans.

Action will always trump self criticism. Instead of criticizing yourself, keep taking act. Keep working on your tasks, progress comes with consistent action.

(Yes to plan is very important, but we plan to act. A plan not acted upon yields us nothing.)

So when you know your goals, break them into small tasks that you can define simply and put into a day. Then take action a day at a time. If you struggle, remember your human and having self discipline and doing new things is always a challenge. (The sooner you can make the commitment to face the challenge the sooner you can move forward.) Don't beat yourself up over an imperfect follow through, simply stay committed to your tasks and keep taking action.

I would never claim to be perfect.

I'm working to develop the discipline I need, and no it's not easy.

The key I have found is to not give up.

I enjoy studying success, and successful people and what they do to make the most out of their life. I have yet to become a perfect implementer, but I'm committed to develop a life I can be proud of.

I know from experience that when I have broken tasks down into small and simplistic task I feel for more empowered to take action. And it is this personal empowerment that is so very important for you and me.

Without it we remain frozen in fear and anxiety inside our caves and don't wander out to travail the forest and become the bear that we can be proud of.

I wish everyone all the best in their efforts to unleash their inner grizzly, through seeing the hunt that is the quest for personal achievement as doable. Not being overwhelmed with the entirety of the hunt, but rather seeing it broken into simple tasks; like picking up the sent, tacking your prey, etc.

Regards,
Evan

Good advice, because if we want to accomplish everything through relatively short time, we would be overwhelmed. As wise man told: one brick at the time and building will be done.
Happy New Year:)

Totally! one brick at a time. If you think about the the whole wall it's easy to become overwhelmed.
Happy New Year to you as well.
