Compound Interest: EFFORT

Have you ever heard of compound interest?

Usually a term referring to financial investments, compound interest refers to the compilation and development of interest or increase.

There is another form of compound interest.

A compilation of energy and effort builds over time and like compound interest means more to you and I the longer it is pursued.

Using a hand pump to access water in a well, planting a garden, or creating a piece of art, teach us about the compound interest of our efforts and energy.

The more you think, do, and pursue something the more possible it is for you to see results.

Often when we start something we naturally look for our desired outcome or significant progress right away.

As much as we know that we need to invest our time, it can be hard especially when we struggle to see things come together. Yet those who stick with it, and keep working on developing consistency eventually see results.

Sometimes you and I can be frustrated with the tasks before us because we don’t see the immediate benefits of the tasks we are working on.

What you and I need to always remember is that our efforts toward productivity and our goals compound overtime.

The more we work on things, the more we will come to see results.

We can’t expect results instantaneously, but rather we can expect them in time.

The best compound interest comes from our efforts.

When our effort and energy is focused and channeled consistently over a prolonged amount of time we will gradually see things come together.

In this case our interest comes in the form of progress, and achievement.

The more we work on things the more we learn, progress and achieve.

The initial effort is always the hardest, and maintaining the effort requires dedication and the continual renewal of motivation.

As we work to build our online businesses we quickly realize that things are going to take longer than we had expected. We always knew that starting an internet business would never be a never be a get rich quick scheme, but perhaps we might have hopedf for a healthy steady profit sooner rather than later.

Even though you might feel overwhelmed, frustrated or burnt out, don’t give up.

Don’t stop working, planing, or pushing. Don’t give up.

We have to remember that everything worth value requires work and effort.

May we remember to consistently work toward our goals, and realize that although results don’t come in an instant, they come in time.

Remember to take things one paw at a time.

I love your posts - thank you :)

I'm sincerely glad you enjoy them! Thanks for taking the time to check them out.

Well, many years ago we decided to build a yacht and sail away. We bought the plans and the timber, the fibreglass, nails and paint.
Every spare moment we worked on that boat. We had children and a business...a farm to tend...illness and holidays...no work, no cash....lots of work, no time...a goal insight.
We launched her in 2012. I'm sitting on board now, feeling the effects of compound interest.
You can read more about my results of never giving up in the pages of my Cashed Up Nomad site...go to my profile for the link.
Keep the wind in your sails me hearties. Janelle.

Wow! Thanks for sharing such an inspirational story with us. Power to you for sticking with it and realizing your goal. I can only imagine how satisfying it must have felt to set sail and enjoy the freedom you set out to find. Compound interest truly is powerful.
Much Thanks-Evan
