You and I both know that the way we think matters.

We know that the clearer our thoughts are the easier it is to manage our lives, and pursue our dreams.

Most of us simply do what it takes to retain what sanity we can grasp.

Let’s face it, life is hard. Not necessarily because of what we have to do, but because of how we feel about it.

Our perspective matters.

It is never easy to manage our thoughts and shape our mind to allow us to become our best selves and utilize stagnant potential.

We face obstacles and hurtles at every turn.

When it all comes down to it, what we do with our obstacles and hurtles will determine whether we fall to the clutches of conformity, or rise to the ranks of reformation and achievement.

All our choices start within our head.

The most powerful thoughts we have come with depth and conviction, and determine our potential.

They say that either we can, or we can’t do it. They determine what we can achieve.

What we believe is possible is so powerful.

I have heard this to be termed as a “believability-index.”

Your “believe-ability-index,” determines the magnitude of success and achievement you enjoy.

This is because you can never do what you think you can’t do. It is next to impossible.

If you don’t believe it’s possible then you won’t be able to find the motivation you need to do what it takes to see it through to fruition.

So what do we do to shift our view, change our prospective, and redefine our personal possibilities?

We have to push ourselves to have experiences
that help us to see things differently.

These experiences may seem silly in the beginning, but they will make an impact.

For instance. My favorite car company is Porsche. So I have gone to the nearest dealership, and sat in the cars. Felt the leather wrapped seats hug me as I gripped the steering wheel. I took it all in I saw the interior of the car as if I was driving it. I got promotional materials from Porsche. I got the salesman’s business card, and made a point of getting pictures of me sitting in Porsche’s.

I did this as a way to alter the way I saw my potential for getting a Porsche. Now don’t get me wrong Porsche dealerships are nothing like walking into an American automakers dealership, but they are just like them in the sense that they sell cars, and they have sales people. etc.

I realized that although Porsche is a premium automaker the only thing stopping me from owning a Porsche is my income. Okay I knew that before, but I saw it in a different light. It hit me, those who own Porsche’s (without mountains of debt) earn a living by providing above average average value to the world / in the workplace. They do more, therefore they achieve more, and ultimately earn more.

A major reason why you need to seek out the experiences – I refer to them as dream building experiences, is to feel the possibility of what most often feels out of grasp, and then to begin to seek out a mental understanding of what is separating you from achievement and attainment.

A more simplistic example of developing my “believability index” is what I’m doing right now in an efforts toward reaching my goal of reading more this year.

What am I doing?

Well,… I got a few books. I then started reading all of them.

I push my self to read, and as result In around 3weeks I have been able to read over 310 pages.

This averages out to over 100 pages per book.

Now I might tend to think that I’m not progressing fast enough, but then again I can think about how far I have come.

I have read more in the last three weeks than I have been able to read in a good long while.

This helps me work toward my goal, as well as see that my goal is most definitely possible.

Thus helping to alter my “believability index”.

You and I need to continually seek out dream building experiences to help us develop our “believability index,” and push ourselves to become and achieve what has most often felt near impossible.

So remember that if you are struggling with your goals, or developing a vision that your mindset is the cause.

You can alter your mindset through experiences that help you see the probability of the things that seem impossible ( I refer to these experiences as dream building experiences), and then work on devising the plans and actions to move you toward the impossible.

You can do it.

You just might have to think about things differently.

I wish you all the best, and remind you to take things one paw at a time. Success is never instant, it is found through consistent effort week by week and year by year.
