Hello everyone San here,
I have a great word for today and I think everyone is going to love it.
Imagination - the faculty of producing ideal CREATIONS consistent with reality, as in literature, as distinct from the power of creating illustrative or decorative imagery.
- ability to face and resolve difficulties; resourcefulness.
Imagination is a powerful word and should be used in conjunction with the previous two words, writer and confidence. When you write, write with confidence and use your imagination.
Imagine yourself as your reader, look at your work closely and ask yourself the following questions -
Does this solve my problem?
Does it answer my question?
Is my situation resolved by this information?
It is only when we provide excellent and simple solutions to our readers that we have truly been of service to them.
Remember, everything is like your muscles, the more you work them out the stronger they get, this includes your imagination.

Hi San,
This is one of the reasons why my wife uses mind maps to take notes. She can map a 30 minute presentation using illustrations and flow arrows and then relate the key points as clearly as the speaker did.
Our mind thinks in illustrations and if we can tap into that, using our imagination, our confidence in our writing will blossom.

I think you are on to something there...because we think in pictures imagination is a powerful tool, an unseen power within of which we only see the expression of. I like that you recognize it as a mental muscle that requires use for it to get stronger.
Yes, everything within our person is that way. You want a pleasing professional personality, practice it every day it will get stronger. Same applies to the way we speak, write, dress, walk, breath, and think.
Thoughts are things, be creative with them and they will serve you well.

I like the way you put that you imagine yourself as the reader. If you like your writing then it's a hit. Your mind is a powerful tool, your imagination is unlike anything you can find anywhere. It's the most wonderful thing that can happen to a writer. It is as necessary for a good story and will lead to sucess. Great job and great blog.

Everyone has the ability to write, have confidence and use their imagination, as Mike pointed out we use it constantly that is until a seemingly difficult situation confronts us.
Just step out side of yourself and use your imagination and it will get you thru.

We use our imagination all the time. When we wake up start to imagine how will be our day, next we imagine how will be the traffic in the morning. At the office, we imagine how can we be successful in the next meeting, at lunch we imagine the desert we want today, and so on. At the end of the day we imagine how many emails we have today from WA. Our imagination is our everyday friend and it is with us forever.
Long live imagination.

Very well put Mike, our imaginations are always active in the things we focus on day to day, but for a lot of people when faced with a problem, like writing for your website, they seem to forget they have the means to get around the problem and create great content.
You have put a new spin on my explanation that needs a voice.

Hi San!
Thanks a lot for your kind answer. My until now short journey here at WA made me a person who pay more attention to everything. My focus is different now from a month ago, and that is because of you and many others like you.
Everyone in WA are my inspiration and most of them waked up my imagination.

yes I agree imagination writer and confidence should be in everybody's vocabulary and I have another I think should be in that group of words and that is perseverance all the best
