In a matter of weeks, the Coronavirus has turned most people's lives upside down. Indeed, mine has not been affected at all because I work from home anyway, and get my groceries delivered. Anyone who has a family will be feeling the loss acutely. It is hard not to close friends and family.

Merely a couple of days earlier, most people were concerned with the hustle and bustle of everyday life: work, errands, seeing close friends, and running businesses.

Confidence was at an all-time high. The economic situation was rumbling along reasonably well, Nothing sinister on the horizon.

In an unexpected turn of events, in fact, unprecedented turn of events - a country - Italy shut down. Nothing in human history has ever happened like this.

Countless people have orders to stay in their house, lives have changed forever, confidence has plunged, anxiety has escalated through the roof, and millions are out of job left clambering to determine what to do next.

Yet much of what happens in life is beyond our control. We must remember that what is important is not the events but how we deal with them.

So what can you do to get through this?

Actively look for the positive side the Coronavirus has brought us, and of course, there are silver linings.

Every crisis produces a new set of possibilities if you choose to see the opportunity.

As, Viktor Frankl, Austrian psychiatrist, a survivor of the Holocaust, and also the author of Man's Search for Meaning, said,

"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."

So you have a choice. You may choose to stress about everything, even though you can't control the outcome or choose the silver lining.

Seven Silver Linings of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

1. TIME TO LEARN: TURN DOWNTIME RIGHT INTO PRODUCTIVE TIME

If you are like most people, your working situation may have changed within the last few weeks. Some of you will be working from home, and you will have more time because you won't be commuting. Sadly some of you will be laid off. While this laying off is shattering economically, it is impossible at this time to go out and find work. The best thing you can do now is to knuckle down and work on your own business. That may sound as though I don't care, and I don't have sympathy. I do on both counts, but I still see the opportunity.

The positive aspect of this circumstance is now you have an abundance of time.

How many times have you stated, "If only I had the time? I would certainly go back to school, start a new hobby, or learn something.

Well, now is that moment.

Remind yourself of all of the things that you hated about your job. All of the things that you are now free of. There are opportunities to align your passions and abilities in a way that will fulfill you. At the end of the lockdown, you can be in a better position than when you started.

Transform this downtime right into productive time. Read, tidy, organize, establish new routines, as well as find out new abilities that will assist you in the future. Invest in your future.

There are some fantastic giveaways at the moment. Many of the country's top colleges are providing cost-free classes or streaming online lessons completely free. Skillshare at Linked in has lots of classes.

Incidentally, it doesn't have to be all about acquiring functional skills for your career. Use this time to acquire fun abilities as well as create pastimes like playing an instrument or learning how to cook. There is lots of creativity in those hobbles.

2. TOP QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY

When things are good, and we are active, we often tend to let points slide as well as develop bad habits.

The crucial things like friends and family get pressed sideways for work, job, and goals, as well as other commitments.

Luckily, this situation has helped all of us remember what is really important. I know that many of you are separated from your family. If you're fortunate to be at home with your family, use this reflective time inside to have family time, eat dinners together, have video game nights (or afternoons). Go for walks in the park or along the beach. I live next to a beach, and it is lovely to see families having wonderful quality time together.

Be grateful for the family members you have and the additional time you can spend with them. If you're not fortunate to be with family today, set up day-to-day or once a week to have conference calls, or Facetime and get imaginative with exactly how you can play video games or appreciate time together.

3. TIME TO BE QUIET AND REFLECT

Before the Coronavirus, did your typical day looks something like this?

Wake up, shower, and brush your teeth at the same time. Dash out the door with no time to have breakfast or even a coffee. Drop the kids off at school, get caught in a traffic jam, and race to work. You have got heartburn before your day even starts. Get home mentally and physically wrecked and collapse in front of the television with junk food.

Sound familiar?

The one great feature of this entire challenge is it has forced us to slow down to a snail's pace. You have time to take stock of what is going on in your life.

You have time to go inwards and connect with yourself because all the noise has been obliterated. Use this time to meditate, write a journal, and make plans for the post-Corona pandemic world.

4. ENJOY VIRTUAL COCKTAIL PARTIES

As the saying goes, you don't know what you have until it's gone. We can now see how meaningful your relationships are.

Now I'm willing to bet you might even be missing your irritating colleagues.

So rather than regretting the fact you can not be with your good friends right now, be grateful for those you have.

5. POINT OF VIEW

Indeed, all that is happening is unfavorable and also scary, yet the right idea regarding the Coronavirus is the viewpoint it has offered us.

The Coronavirus is a harsh dose of much-needed perspective.

Unexpectedly all the mundane trappings of regular life have been set aside. It doesn't seem the time to keep up with the Jones's, especially when we don't know how long this will go on for.

It's not the time to be jealous or chase Shiny objects syndrome. It's the time to get your head down and see things through.

What really matters: family, friends, job, safety, and also health and wellness, these are the things that we should all be focusing on.

6. MOTIVATION

Are you wound up by your circumstances? Excellent

Olympic sprinter and also gold medalist Michael Johnson has a compelling view on tension. It can be used as a catalyst to bring about the best in you. The Coronavirus crisis is one hell of a driving force, don't you think?

In times like this we have two alternatives: quit or resist.

Situations are frequently the jumpstart that catapults people forward right into huge spurts of personal growth.

For example, after a stint as a Congressman, Abraham Lincoln was sad and depressed. He had failed to abolish slavery. Despite his anxiety, he rods above it. He was driven to succeed whatever the personal cost. He became tenacious and ferocious.

He was the first one up in his household and the last to retire. He researched and studied he honed himself to the political leader we revere today.

Because of his earlier battles and also experience in tough times, he demonstrated the ability to lead a young nation through a Civil War, the most dreadful thing that can happen to a country.

Now is a time for us to recognize that we can be motivated by this situation. We can accelerate our progress and become a better person.

7. TIME TO OVERHAUL YOUR BUSINESS

Yes, several companies are closing down as lots of people have lost their job once again; there is still a positive side in this downtime.

When times are excellent businesses, get complacent. They forget the need for ethics because profit is coming in. Now some companies are giving away food to foodbanks. Others like Amazon are kicking their affiliates in the teeth.

Use this time around to develop an economic plan as well as try new things to expand your business.

Spend time creating a message that your clients can recognize and fall in love with. Build a plan to draw in, involve, nurture new potential readers

and build your tribe to establish more robust, deeper connections.

Your potential customers will want to do business in a new way; they want new suppliers and new ideas. So now is the time to become an authority.

Exactly how can you do that? Simple.

Identify new customer pain points: What has changed for them during this crisis they won't come out unscathed.

Be compassionate: Let your customers recognize you hear them and also get what they are going through. Help guide them through this challenging time.

Be giving: supply your consumers suggestions, ideas, or products that can help make this time much less severe.

Stop lamenting the reality that you can not offer your old item due to Coronavirus, identify what new services or product you can establish as a result of Coronavirus.

Go out of your way to

help them, take risks, and change the strategy.

FIND YOUR SILVER LINING IN ALL OF THIS

The secret to surviving the Coronavirus situation is gratefulness, or to locate the positive side in all of this. Thankfulness isn't something to be

exercised when times are good. It's twice as important now.

make sure you and your family survive this in better shape than when you started
