Today I'm giving you a tool to increase your creativity.

MY DAILY MEDITATION PRACTICE

I think that 95% of my super creative breakthrough ideas are down to 20-minute meditation practices daily. This is not a spiritual practice it's purpose is to create new neural pathways. It's new neural pathways that give you new solutions to old problems.

Basically, I'm putting my brain and my mind into a state of absolute nothingness. So if you want to incorporate meditation into your life and effortlessly come up with more money-making ideas, then I suggest you give it a go.

1) Wake up in the morning. Don’t check your phone.

(2) Go I have a shower and brush your teeth (or at the very least brush your teeth

(3) Walk to a quiet room in your house find a comfortable chair or lie on the floor

(4) Get comfortable. Make sure your feet are touching the ground. You can do
this lying down with your knees raised.

(5) Imagine roots coming out of the soles of your feet, rather like tree roots, imagine them going down through the foundations of the house down into the center of the earth.

6) Rub your hands together and run the palms of your hands down your face. Do this for times. This is an energy cleansing exercise.

(7) Take 3 deep breaths. Breathing through your nose, and exhaling through your mouth. Set the intention while you do this that you will connect with your body. And let a long sigh out every time you exhale which strengthens the intention

(8) Walkthrough every part of your body and relax it. Start with the top of your head and work down to your feet.

9) Imagine yourself surrounded by a healing teal light.

(10) Imagine golden light coming from the sky and flowing directly into your head. This golden light contains million-dollar ideas of joy, love, laughter.

(11) Follow your breath. In and out for 20 minutes. Be as still. As you can

(12) Open your eyes and repeat your personal affirmations for the day.

(13) Get on with your living the date of the fullness of its potential

When you first do this, you’ll feel reborn. But that’s not the real benefit here. The real benefit is you’ll find solutions to problems that you never previously considered. BIG DEAS will randomly pop into your brain. New business ideas will always hit you. Nonstop.

Why? Because creativity stems from a mental state of nothingness. In nothing lies everything.

Wayne Dyer used to call it, the space between the cracks where the magic happens"

So the closer you bring your mind to nothingness, the more ideas, and insights you can catch (otherwise your thoughts and emotions will drown out your next BIG breakthrough). Do this consistently for 30 days and you won’t believe the impact. I’ve been doing it for the last 10 years and it is very powerful.

I love this and will try this from tomorrow morning onward. I have been doing different sorts of meditation for a while. I noticed Wim Hoff's breathing technique works ideally for me. Also, going into psychological priming "affirmation" states first things as soon as I open my eyes is doing some good to me. I have three cats, so looking at them in the morning before my breathing techniques also gives me some sort of inner calmness.

Thank you for structuring it and making it easier for a wider audience to accept these beautiful practices.

To go back to meditation nature is a very powerful force. I have in the past done walking meditations in nature which although they have been great have resulted in a few bumps and bruises as well!

I started the Wim Hoff method earlier in the year, having cold showers and breathing techniques, and found it very therapeutic it has resulted in me feeling better physically.

I love Wayne Dyer and thanks to recording we can still listen though he's passed on.
I find I get the effects you speak of when I'm doing mundane activities in quiet.
Vacuuming the pool with only sounds of nature, driving long distances, folding wash, I often need to jot down ideas as soon as I take a break.
Are you familiar with the Silva Method? That's where I learned meditation in 1980.
Meditation Is a must for creative expression and also for health issues... Other topic completely.

I am indeed old enough to remember the Silva Method meditation. That work is to some extent been overtaken by Dr. Joe Dispenza and whilst he talks a lot of sense and cannot work with chakras which makes it impossible for me to follow his meditations, but I am aware of his work

Hi - yes, I have a similar routine. Shower and then 15 minutes of meditation. I find it helps to visualise my breath as coloured smoke, so I can follow it entering my nose and exhaling through my mouth.

And only after this, am I allowed to check my emails and grab my coffee!

Yes, a lot of my friends use that technique of coloured smoke. It was never very useful for me as I'm a true kinaesthetic. I have to feel something rather than see or hear it but I do appreciate that if it works for you it is a very powerful technique.

Everyone is their own teacher and it is totally up to them to work out what is best for their development
