Make Your newsletter Mobile Friendly
One of the things that turned my business around was an ahhaaaaaa moment in about 2013. At the time L was living in Spain but came over to London about every six weeks to do some network marketing. My friend Martin Avis hosted that event.
There were always a few hardcore members that never missed one. Martin, was one, Sarah Staar was another and me . About six of us ended up in Pizza Express when we were thrown out of the Strand Palace Hotel because they wanted to close the dining room.
It worked out that we started at about midday and in the evening ended up having a pizza and then I caught the 1am flight from Gatwick to Malaga. Anyway we were chatting about someone's rescue dog because we were all talked out with affiliate marketing when Sarah piped up and said
1. "The turning point in my business was really knuckling down and getting my email list started in earnest . Today she has an email list of about 250,000. That is not a massive list by any means, but she does clean it out regularly and weeds out the people who don't engage with her.
That wasn't exactly the ahha moment I knew that and had already built lists. I was very glad of this in 2010 when my brother died. I was broken and couldn't get it together to work for years . Yet my listies paid my bills. it was the second thing she said, the follow up to list building that rocked my world.

That really made me think I just needed two things to be super successful. A responsive list and products of my own.

Some more great info here Catherine, having a great email list is one thing, but maintaining it is a different story!

it was indeed in the city, but Malaga is a big sprawling city I was a forty minute drive from the city

I used to live just down the road in Benalmadena.....a thirty minute drive at most!!
Take Sao Paulo in Brazil....now that was/is a sprawling city!!!
I meant it covers a lot of area for such a small population. I lived in Guadalmar in front of the San Miquel factory/ airport on the beach. My brother and parents both lived in Benalmadena
Yes, the list. Mine needs work. You are telling me something I already know and have not worked to improve. Guess it's time I did it!
I've heard that the money is in the list. No doubt you figured this out a long time ago. I've also enjoyed Michael Cheney's info. Very helpful. Thanks for sharing your insights.

Thanks Susan. Yes that was one of Kyle's tracings fifteen years ago, the money is in the list. Actually over the years that has changed the money is in your relationship with your list

What a small world it is. My sister and her family live in Costa Del Sol. When I visit them we often drive into Malaga.
A few years ago I came across Sara Star online and watched one of her video series. I must be one of those who she has purged from her email list because I didn't engage with her. When you talk to her give her my best wishes. She helps so many people and I commend her for that.
A friend helped me create a new static home page. He had parts of it duplicated for desktop and mobile. I couldn't do that but decided to keep what he did. When I write content, I check with Google Search Console to see if it is mobile-friendly and leave it at that. What would you recommend?
