How and Why Some Niches Have Become More Profitable Post Covid

Some niches have changed beyond recognition in these challenging times. If you had asked me at the beginning of 2020 Could I go into the Cookery niche I would have said no way it has definitely been done to death? However, as you all know, wherever you are in the world a lot can change in a year.

What Has Caused This Seismic Shift?

I believe that a lot of people are re-evaluating their lives and their core values at the moment. In essence, that means they are looking for a new way of doing things. I invite you to think about what you are doing differently at the moment and how permanent you want those changes to be.
Let me give you some examples, just in case, you are scratching your head.

WORKING FROM HOME

Obviously, it goes without saying that the face of the working environment has changed radically in the last year. Many people have lost jobs, and sadly many more will do so. That means more and more people will be looking at alternative ways of making money online. On the surface of it, it looks as though the make money [MMO] more profitable. What I have found in my business is that it has affected the upper and lower end of the market.

It has affected the lower end of the market because more and more people are looking for "free ways to make money online", "make money online for free". In other words, they are freebie seekers! You're never going to be able to convert freebie seekers, by and large, because their mentality is they don't have to pay for anything. In actual fact, of course, they are absolutely right. You can find the training available here in wealthy affiliates online for free. Good luck to anybody searching for it, who doesn't know what they're doing, because they will find 120,000 articles that are absolutely wrong. So although that information is available you have to be knowledgeable to be able to sort it out for free. The freebie seekers don't know that but also the not going to take action anyway because the mentality is wrong. I have opened my make money online membership site for free on a temporary basis, just to test whether it will convert the freebie seekers.

At the top end of the market, I have found that people are looking for a quick solution on a one-to-one basis. So this means in effect the high-end coaching courses are selling better than they were six months ago. A certain group of people value the fact that they have to pay for information that works. They also value the fact that they don't have to reinvent the wheel and it's easier to copy somebody else who is making money than starting from scratch.

All of this is obvious, but it is worthwhile information if you're new at this.

Another reason the make money online is great is because it has a huge amount of products both real and digital. You can promote high ticket real products such as upright desks or home gym equipment.

THE COOKERY NICHE

A lot of people have been prevented from eating out in the last year. I am talking about people who normally eat out four or five times a week. Some of these people are like my sister-in-law who is a very competent cook but loves to go out to eat and socialize. So nothing is going to change for her, as soon as things return to open she will go out to eat again.

On the other hand, there are many people who lived on takeaways, who can't cook, and they want information. They have reevaluated their lifestyle, they may not have the money to eat out, they may not have the desire to eat out because they want to protect their families.

So there are huge niche opportunities in teaching people how to cook, what sort of things they should put on their shopping list for healthy eating, the nutritional value of foods etc.
