One of the most powerful methods I've used to make money over the last twenty years is this.
I Create a product
I Offer commission to affiliates for them to make sales.
Now you may think that creating a product is difficult. A few days ago, I posted my ideas here to create a product very quickly. One of the stumbling blocks that you might find is delivery.
To deliver the product, you need a shopping cart that has a built in affiliate platform.
I now use ThriveCart for this; it is an incredible system with tons of features. I also use Clickfunnels. ThriveCart is nearly $700 a one-time fee, and Clickfunnels is $97 a month. There are reasons why I use both, but that is not the point of this post.
However, the initial one-off cost can be beyond smaller budgets, in which case I recommend platforms like JVZoo, which is free to sign up for. They make their money by charging a small percentage fee on each sale.
This sounds like a good deal but over time, it's surprising how the fees can stack up - over the years, I have spent about $15,000 in fees. However, it is worth it, and I still put my new products on JV Zoo because they rank well and it creates sales.
These fees can be eye-watering, but equally, the profits can be eye-watering.
Today I found a ZERO COST shopping cart that had no monthly fees, no transaction fees, a built in affiliate system and 1-click upsell functionality? The one click upsell functionality is one of two reasons why I use Clickfunnels.
It means that you can get upsales easily by just one click and not having to put in further information. It increases sales.
Let's go back to the original product you can get access NOW by paying absolutely nothing.
I have never seen anything quite like this in the history of Internet marketing. Mike Filsaine already owns a shopping cart but clearly, he wants to improve it

1. I have not tested this system as I only heard about this, this morning.
2. It's early days, so it might have bugs.
3. Right now, it doesn't look as feature-rich as other more established platforms (ThriveCart included).
4. I don't know the quality of the support desk.

I am in awe at how you have developed a very successful business with your own products. My eyes popped when I saw that $15K in shopping cart fees. Sounds like you made some healthy sales. Congrats!
The idea of offering a new shopping cart for free tryouts is a good idea. A great way to find out and fix the bugs using people willing to be guinea pigs. Thanks for sharing.

Built into the WA platform is a free shopping cart with no fees for its affiliate system but of course there's no real upsell functionality which is where it all went wrong... lolsss
I'd heard about Filsaime's product previously but hadn't checked it out.
He's been in the game a long time so I guess he knows what works well in the industry.

Not strictly I agree but if you're joining up or upgrading to Premium then you go through the payment process which I feel is its own internal "shopping cart".

Wealthy affiliate is not a shopping cart you cant sell your own products here and that is what a shopping cart is for

Thanks for this Catherine. I’ve signed up and I’m going to try it out. I already have an ebook that I can turn into a video but I’m surely going to use the suggestion you make in your blog about creating a product quickly. It’s all very new to me so huge learning curve but one I see I need to climb.
I know you will have to pay eventually but it gives you the chance to release a product when its free
