Do It or Ditch It In September
Do It or Ditch It In August Results
I started a new plan in August. Whatever my goals are for this month I am either going to complete them every day or am going to ditch them.
Tasks I planned to do every day
A thirty day tapping challenge Don
Write at least 2000 words a day Done
Publish at least 1000 a day on a new blog.Done
Start a new Youtube channel Done
Finally get my IM membership site off the ground.Done
Walk for half an hour a day. ditched
Buy a house in Valencia not Done or ditched
Unpack and repack all my books ready to ship out to Valencia Done
So my Do it or Ditch It plans in September
My house didn't get bought in Valencia because I realised that although it was absolutely perfect in every way it was on the fourth floor and didn't have an elevator. That would have ended my objective to sell at a profit when I do sell. So I am still looking for a house in Valencia in September
I have bought a rowing machine because my exercise challenge got ditched because of miserable weather. So from tomorrow I plan to at least use my rowing machine every day. I haven't set a goal other than to use it for at least 10 minutes every day. I will revise that: 1 October.
Continue to publish a thousand words a day.
Populate my new membership site every day make at least three videos a week

Sounds like a great plan, Catherine!
One that I will implement in Sept. There are a few things I need to do even if only 10 minutes a day to accomplish my goals.
I have exercise equipment and using them everyday is a challenge I can accept...grin..

I'm going to try out your plan it's seems to be effective.. You did very well even though the weather killed your walking goals. You replaced it with the rowing machine! Good idea.
I recently have gained weight and got a menopause tummy. I never was told by anyone or even heard about a menopause tummy but I know I have it. I need to lose a bunch of weight too like 40lbs-50lbs.
Well I have already lost 7 kgs which is just over a stone. It is not here on the challenge because it wont be ditched until I lose my weight
Mostly "done" goals, that's not too bad Catherine. Good luck with finding a house in Valencia. Sounds exciting, sounds exotic.

Good morning Catherine,
It looks like your "do it or ditch it" plan worked quite well, it looks like you have achieved quite a lot, which is great!
Just one thing, I appreciate the weather hasn't been great here in the UK, however, I find walking so therapeutic and relaxing. Thankfully, where we live we are surrounded by fields and have some absolutely fantastic walks. I think it's worth giving the walking another try! Are you wearing the right clothing to protect yourself from the outdoors? That can make a huge difference!
I appreciate that you have purchased the rowing machine, however, to me, and we are all different, there's nothing quite like a good walk in the countryside.
Wishing you all the best, congratulations on achieving so much.
Roy
Thank you Roy. I am not ditching the walking just ditching the walking in the freezing cold
Good morning Catherine,
Lol, it's not cold yet, but it will be soon, unfortunately! I don't look forward to the winter, at all!
My wife comes from near Thessaloniki in Greece, I probably shouldn't, but I look at the local UK forecast and the Thessaloniki forecast every day, there's a big difference! Even though they have a winter, it's normally 7 to 20° warmer, a massive difference!
I need to get my act together and go full-time online, then we could spend more time in Greece!
Have a great day and stay warm!
Roy
It might not be cold for you, but for someone who has spent the majority of my life in the tropics it's freezing. I have only had the heating off for two days this Summer. In my world last Winter hasn't finished yet.
Good morning Catherine,
Now that's not much fun and I'm sorry to hear that, it's miserable feeling cold, however, I can slightly relate to what you're saying!
My wife comes from Greece, so she's obviously used to warmer weather, she is gradually adapting to the British climate, but it's hard. I feel she looks much more radiant when she is in the Greek sunshine! Apparently in Greece, it was 28° before the tights or trousers even came off! That's hard for me to imagine having worked outside all my life! It's amazing how the body gets acclimatised to certain temperatures.
Maybe we all need to think about moving to warmer places, I would certainly love to go to Greece!
Wishing you all the best Catherine.
