Acrobatic Ambitions: Why Business Success Might Just Need a Juggling Squirrel
Last Update: Sep 26, 2023
Hey folks!
Let's dish out a dollop of business wisdom today, wrapped in a quirky anecdote. Ever heard the saying, "No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else"? Let's venture into the whimsical world of circuses for a second.
Imagine you're the owner of a circus in a town where there are, oddly enough, five other circuses. If you stuck to the standard lion-taming and trapeze acts, you'd blend into the crowd, right? But what if, one day, you decided to shake things up and introduce... wait for it... an unicycling squirrel that juggles tiny acorns? Sounds wild. (Pun intended!)
Sure, it's a gamble. People might laugh, question your sanity, or wonder if you've spent too much time in the sun. But they also might flock to your tent out of sheer curiosity. And before you know it, every kid in town is pestering their parents about that unicycling squirrel, and you're selling out shows left and right.
Here's the business twist: Sometimes, your wackiest, most out-of-the-box idea is the one that puts you on the map. It's risky, yes. But as they say, fortune favors the bold. Like in the circus, you're just another tent in the crowd if you don't put on a memorable show in the business arena.
So, take that risk! And you'll find your unicycling squirrel moment. Happy innovating! 🎪

Another great post, Abie.
Maybe the squirrel that escaped from Maria's husband was the one that caused a big stir
"In the First Self-Righteous Church
In that sleepy little town of Pascagoula (Pascagoula)" (Mississippi that is).
Name the song and the artist. ;)

You'd have to ask Maria, as she's the one who can confirm for both of us. :)
Thank you, JD! Astounding feedback.
Oh, that squirrel must be the one that scaped from the tree that Sam ( in my blog) was attempting to chopped down!
Awesome blog post Abbie!
Most of the times, it’s the wackiest of ideas, that put someone on the map!
Cheers,
Maria 🌹
Yeah, I think so, too, lol. A very smart squirrel jumped continents, escaping for their freedom.
I appreciate it, Maria. :) It is. You must have a solid heart and go all in full power.

I think your idea is terrific. On my website 2-travel.org a while ago I had a couple of squirrel moments. During Covid I wrote about a holiday from the comfort of your sofa - watching YouTube videos of places you wanted to visit and eating in. Then I did a Bitcoin Holiday in San Salvador.
