Howdy, All Y'all, [uniquely special], Wealthy Affiliate members and the Wealthy Affiliate community; - "TheAbie - You Have To See It To Believe It. "
.
One time I was in the live chat, and I heard a story; however, I never believed it till it happened to me.
.
Then I told the person that now I believe them. And they wondered why I didn't before and thought I was rude.
.
However, my response was if I do not see, witness, or touch, I would very unlikely believe? And they wanted to pretend they'd never read my comment.
.
So fellows, only believe with your eyes and touch; otherwise, how else would you know it is true?
.
Only your wisdom will decide everything you believe.
.
You can count something only when you witness it all by yourself.
.
Otherwise, there's a chance that you would allow other people to get to play with your thoughts and ideology, thus loss of boundaries and other things.
.
So keep it simple, follow the see, witness, and touch to believe.
.
(Short, sweet, and right on point.)
Thoughts are welcome.

Hi TheAbie, there are things you would not believe even if I told you about them. I have been witness to many things. That has happen to me and to others.

I have experience many things during my time. Things that I can explain and things that I can't explain. It is spiritual things that I have experienced.

If you are interested I will tell you only if you want to know. It is awesome and amazing. I am NOT going to infringe on your beliefs by any means.

I just have this to say you, can believe in things that you can see and what you can't see. And what you can't see is called faith. Think about that because many things comes to mind that we have that we can't see that we do everyday of our lives.

Mary

Abie, I don't argue with this, but I think that not everybody experiences the same things, but that it *cab* happen to other people, but not necessarily me, but it sure hits home when it happens to you, and some stories are sure incredulous, both positive and negative. And some of the things I've experienced, others haven't or they find incredulous.

That being said, it doesn't hurt to take some stories with a grain of salt, or a lot of salt, for that matter, depending on the stories. So in that, you do have to pause, consider, and sometimes experience it for yourself. II mean to say, that if someone says you can make a million dollars in a year, I'd be very skeptical of it, but I wouldn't turn it down, but it would take a lot for me to believe it, or even for me to experience it.

I do tend to take some things at face value and be more credulous than I should be, but I also tell myself, that maybe it's true, maybe it isn't, but use my brain, my five senses, and maybe even my intuition, but I like to keep things on a reality base too. It's a tough balance sometimes, you know?

yea, TheAbie, this principle is good although not applicable in all spheres of life. There are many things which you can feel their presence, but you neither touch them nor see them. Others you see what "effects" they do but you will neither see them nor touch them.
Enter into the sphere of microelectronics, molecular biology, etc, then you will learn to believe without touching and seeing. The tests set up show the effects of their presence, which is generally taken as proof.
Another area is the religious sphere: There, faith is the substance and the evidence of things not seen!!
This does not, in any way diminish your principle but rather asks you to include a disclaimer!! As, ever, I enjoy these provocative thoughts. Thank you very much, TheAbie.

A great point Abie. I’m a big believer in seeing is believing and touching is feeling.
However, I also like to take leaps of faith, or as I call them calculated risks.
That way I can open my eyes to alternatives that I might not have tried before!

All the best

Howdy TheAbie!
Of course, I would do the same.
Great blog post.
Thank you.
