.

Last night felt weird, and I could sense my heart was racing, then felt normal. A bit later, I lost consciousness!

The next thing I was in an ambulance?? I was fine, and nothing was wrong with me. The paramedics thought I should get checked just in case.

Story short, a virus hit me but not Co-vid. I was given medication, discharged, and now back at home.

I feel great!

I just wanted to tell you all that I have successfully registered my .com domain name; tasteofhomecooking.com

This is the one that I liked the sound of best of all ( I had a long list of possible domains) and it relates to the how to cook theme of my website. As far as niches go I think I will go with kitchen equipment to start with. I should be able to write quite a few posts on this subject (knives, pots and pans, mixing bowls, whisks, food mixers etc.) then I can branch out into other areas. I do want to include recipes but within the pages. I would love to hear your honest opinions on this post!

That is great Karen and your niche sounds like it would be fun to write and very interesting to learn more about kitchen equipment especially for those who love to cook and need some ideas like myself. i wish you much success!

Thank you so much! I want to teach people how to cook so lots more articles to come, including some easy recipes. We have a rich history of food in Britain and I’d love to share this with cooks around the world 🌎

You will definitely be able to try them out! I aim to keep things very simple, with easy to follow instructions and images of what the finished dish will look like. Great British food includes things like pies, casseroles, stews, cakes and so many other delicious things. They have interesting names too, like bubble and squeak, toad in the hole, Sussex pond pudding and rumbledethumps. I love them all.

In Britain we also have regional specialities, like food from the north of England or the west country. All are good! An English cream tea is one of my favourite things. If I'm ever in Devon or Cornwall, I head straight for the nearest tea shop and tuck in to scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam with a pot of tea or coffee. Heaven on a plate...

@AbieAJ - thank goodness it was not too serious! Abie, the universe has a funny way of telling us to slow down - when you don't take note, it takes over and makes sure you listen. So, Calm down, take some rest and heal completely. You body is telling you to. Much love and healing -

Glad to hear that you are fine, health scares are not fun at all for the patient and the family. My grandkids had a bad stomach virus that resulted in them staying overnight in hospital because their little bodies couldn't handle the virus. They are okay now and it was not COVID.

I am sorry Jannelte to hear and as for me it was a one off never happened before, it should pass quickly.

Appreciate your concern and I hope your grandkids are doing great.

Support appreciated.

So glad you're back home, Abie

A virus is tricky.

A few years ago, I felt faint and then had projectile vomiting.

I ended up overnight in ER. I had to have IV for dehydration.

Doctor said it was Nora Virus.

My mother-in-law had it first.

Glad you back home.

Take it easy.

Thank you Rachele I hear you and no one is immune, something could strike at any time. I was lucky it was a minor but I felt it coming.

Abie,

You have amazing resiliency. You also work extremely hard helping students.

Make sure to take time for self-care too.
Brain work takes a lot of energy.

Our EMTs are on the ball.

Glad to you are back in the saddle.

Way to go!

Hi, Abie

So happy everything is ok.

Rest, follow up with your primary care physician, and get well! 😊

Consider getting an Apple Watch Series 7, which can monitor your heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and do an "EKG" (Lead I rhythm strip). I have one and it works great!

Feel Better,
Frank
