I recently had surgery and I have no motivation. I have only published 2 articles in the last 3 weeks. Will this hurt my website? I am hoping to get over this funk soon. I am not quitting, I just need a little more time to "get myself together" again and hoping my website will not suffer during this time.

It can be hard when you are not feeling well to post. It will slow the process but then again it's not a race.

You could consider finding a copywriter to write for you or I use RYTR to help inspire me with content created by an AI. It seems to get the juices flowing.

When I've been in a funk I trick myself into doing a little writing by doing some research for a title one day. Then the next I open a word document and just write the title and work out about 6 subheadings, by researching other people's articles on the first page of Google. I bookmark these articles for the next day.

Then the next day I come back and write a paragraph for one subheading and so on.

This makes me feel that I am at least doing something.

Let me know if it works for you.
Take care and relax.

I do the same thing, and sometimes when I plan to just get the title, do the keyword research and get the subheadings in place, I end up finishing the whole article! Not often, but sometimes.

Yes, I find that happens too sometimes. I get so immersed in what I'm doing that time flies.

Rytr is good and they have an affiliate program as well. But don’t like Wise who they use for payments.

Interesting Stephen. I bought the once off lifetime offer as I wouldn't use more than 50,000 characters a month. I use it more as an initial prompter.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I have checked out RYTR per your recommendations. Looks interesting. I may have to do some more research on it.

I will give you a link to my review if you like.
The great thing is you can test it out for free and see if it's for you.

Normally, I wouldn't send you to my website from within WA but in this case, it might smooth your journey to do some research.

I hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Yes, I am. I did a little research this morning for my next article. I have the title now I need to sit down and write it. Still having problems concentrating.
I don't know why I am having this difficulty. I made myself sit and watch the replays of the first 2 videos of Jay's 14-day case study series.
Not both today tho. The first one yesterday and the second one today.
I will read your review tomorrow. I can no longer sit in front of this computer.
Thank you again so much. It is so appreciated.

Glad to hear you say you're not quitting. I quit after a year before and regret it. There are times where I have gone a couple of weeks without posting. It does happen. Consistent posting is encouraged of course to get traffic. Get well soon!!

We can certainly understand your situation. Take care of yourself first.

Yes. Consistency of publishing does make a difference. When you begin again, try and establish regularity., What I have read is that owners of search engines only have so much money to invest in the activity of crawling sites so those that update more frequently get favored if they have quality original content.

We wish you quick recovery.

I have been consistent until just recently. I am having difficulty concentrating and sitting in front of my computer since surgery. I am hoping this all goes away soon I just didn't want my website to suffer while I am going through this.

Not sure how long a break is considered okay - maybe a month, not really sure.

Maybe you can help your motivation by doing some searches on your niche and see what's new or call a friend and talk about something niche related.

We do wish you good health.

HI

Your health comes first before anything else, hope speedy recovery.

It won't hurt no, the process will take longer if you were to post one post a week vs 2 - 3 posts a week - Consistency is also key as Google loves consistency.

Hope this helps.

You may consider outsourcing your work via OnlineJobs dot Ph or Upwork dot com, however you are needing an SEO writer, and certainly a budget as costs can run high.

I would not for example use Fiverr for outsourcing as you would end up editing their work and that's not productivity.
