Why isn't my "G" colourful, in Site Content?

Here's a wierd thing!

I published a post on 27th April 2021, as shown below, which still does not show as "indexed" ("G" is not coloured)

I know for a fact that the post IS indexed, as Site Support helped me out with this, and showed me a screenshot to prove it had been published.

Why then, isn't my "G" colourful, in Site Content, like it should be for a published post?

I am really curious to know, as, otherwise, how do I know for sure if a post is published, or not?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Colin, I was worried because I was not getting those e-mails to indicate my post had been indexed. Like Diane states sometimes you have to click on the "G" this, in turn, will confirm the indexing and will generate an e-mail to you.

All the best,

Michael

Hi - it really isn't reliable, sometimes if you click on the G, it might change colour to reflect that it is indexed. I always check myself by going to Google and typing site:mydomain.com (changing my domain to that of your own, of course).

I have now pressed the "G", and still nothing, so cannot rely on Site Content for this function.

Thank you.

Sorry I had not read this. Once upon a time, I got really worried about a post. Lucky for me Jay was on Live Chat and he helped me out, confirmed it had been indexed, and was actually in the number one spot. You are confirming that site content is not accurate.

Best wishes,

Michael

Sometimes it takes a bit longer have you pressed the G to check?
