I have choosen an emailadress on my site, but I cannot read mails.

I have send three mails, but I see no post.

What should I do to solve this?

Task 4: Create a new username within Wordpress

I had to fill out here an email adress (See below) I did. if I as an admin log in I see that emailadres, but if I send mails to that adress, I can see or read them nowhere.

. Perhaps my question is premature and must I take other steps, before the mailadress can be used?

can't quite make out where you are at progress wise, so apologies if this is not helpful...
Your site once created allows you to create an email with that url as after the @ you just put your name in before the @ when you go to build my website/email..if you have not got the site hosted here yo can't set up a email for it...

Hi Andy. If I understand you well, it is normal that in this phase I cannot use email ? I would like to know this, because I thought I made a mistake. My intention is not to go on before I understand what I am doing and till it works as it should. Warner

Andy, I value your attemps to help me highly! That you compare my work with ploughing. is very empathical ;) It is exactly how it feels. It is a comparison that calls to mind my youth. We had horses and ploughs.
I have often hold the plough. But that was much more easy than the ploughing here is. I had only to steer the plough to get straight furrows. But the horse did the work. I learned here that I have to do the ploughing myself. I may not use you as my horse ;) What I can do only, is asking to help me to steer,
By the way, in my text above I added something, that perhaps makes more clear what is my problem. Warner

Hi, Warner! One solution could be that you "forward" your Site Mail to whatever E-mail Address you prefer. Your clients won't know it and it is quite frequently used to keep from going to the Site to read mail that comes to your Site E-mail address. Other than that, I don't know what might be causing your challenge ...I am sure some one lese here can give you some good pointers.
