Just a quick one please.
I just noticed awhile ago while trying to publish a post that my meta tittle displayed I had over 80 characters and suggest the ideal character is 60.
In essence my post tittle isnt up to 60 characters and I have tried to work around this to resolve whatever the problem is to no avail.
I tried to check out my other posts and realise every one of them now displays my title in red and over 60 characters which wasnt the case before.
i didnt/havent altered anything in my settings so I dont understand why thisi is happening.
I would appreciate any idea on how to deal with this.

If I figure it out, I'll let you know. I just hope it is a meaningless glitch that doesn't affect the ranking of the posts because all 320 of mine on that site now have too many characters in the meta title, according to Ail in One SEO.
By the way, I asked Site Support and they said I should contact the plugin people. I tried to do that but there doesn't seem to be a direct way unless you have paid for the upgrade.

Wow... That will be a hell of a problem. So unless we go premium on the plugin we won't be able to get help?
That's not funny at all, I hope this isn't going to affect our rankings or else this would be a very difficult situation.
I am still observing things at my end though...
On the other hand, have you thought of resetting to default and then set it up again? It's a thought that crossed my mind but don't know if it will have any consequences
If you ever find a way out please let me know, will do same too.

Resetting to default and starting over is probably the best way. I'll consider that.
The few posts I have checked the rank on at Google don't seem to have received any negative impact yet.
One thought is that the next AIO update might take care of it.
I'll let you know if I have any progress.

Hi - are you counting the characters correctly? It includes spaces and punctuation.

Yes Daine I am. I have never had any issue with the this meta title before until a few hours ago. The situation is really weird, especially when I didn't even do any twerking on my setting.

Take a look at a training done by Jay - Magistudios. It is called "Live Black Friday Blueprint" on Nov 24th 2017. You can find it by typing that Title in the search bar at the top of the screen to the right of the WA logo. After you start the video, pull your time on the bottom to 57.10 minutes to about 59.26. This may be of help to you inserting the Meta Title.

Hi Randell, I just vieced the video and what Jay said is exactly what I have been doing for the past one year and never had an issue.
It is still the same thing I did in this very post and even though the meta title is less than 60 characters, it still displays as over 80 and recommends I use less than 60. That is the problem I am facing right now, I don't understand why it suddenly changed.

I have always made my title within 60 characters, that is why I am not sure why this one just started displaying the over 60 warning.
It wasn't like this before until a few hours ago. I just don't know what went wrong, now all my post titles are in red because they exceed 60 characters.
