Hi team,I have not yet formed a company status or created any sort of official business name yet in relation to my affiliate marketing stuff. My question is,should I use/create a personal or business page/profile on each social media to post all my website onto?

Tips and trick for Instagram. Use personal, this is because if you sign up for business, only like 30% of your follower will see your content and this is due to they know you are in business account and they want you to use their advertisement program. Unlike personal account, most of your follower will able to see your post/content.

I have a FB business page but I’m wondering about the rest too. Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, I’m not sure if I should be identifying myself with my site, leaving it personal or adding a business.

I think from all the answers SydneyMac,go with a business profile for all pages.

Business page for sure.
You can have unlimited numbers of people like and follow your business page, where as you have a limit on your personal profile page. There are also some great features on the business page that let you boost and promote posts to a larger audience without braking the bank.
If I have a really standout post that I post to my page, I will add a $5 boost to get more eyes on it. I wouldn't spend more. Ths is a test.
Then you can check your results in that boosted post to see if it's working. If you have tremendous results, you can further boost or promote that page. If you don't you have only invested $5 and maybe gained a few likes and followers.

Did this help, or did I just gush...as usual.LOL

Have a great day!
Best of success and God's speed !

P.S. When you create a business page, you can send invites to everyone on your profile page. So It's the best of both worlds.

Hey Billy,

Whether you own a business or not, if you start adding your affiliate posts to your personal social media accounts you will find your friends either hiding your posts or unfriending you.

Thus it is wiser to use a niche page for your marketing. In this way, you will have followers who are looking for the information you are sharing.

Hope this helps you.

You cannot run ADS on personal profile pages. Plus personal profile pages are not available to people who are not logged into Facebook. PAGES are and with PAGES you can advertise.

You can have ONE profile and unlimited PAGES.

Personally, I prefer a business page over a personal page for anything business related. For example, I have a personal FB page and then I have another page for my dedicated niche. From what I understand, it doesn't hurt to throw in the odd personal comment on your business page - makes you more human :) but you should separate them.
