Hello,

I am just new and fresh on the WA site, but I have been investigating this site and some other concepts for a while...

And for me choosing the perfect niche to start with is a hard one.

Sometimes I have an idea, but often the people that are in this niche are actualy poor people and do not have the money to buy things...

So is it possible to create a good website for people without money? Are there other things that you can offer (that give you money), I think of services that can help them?

I am really curious what other people think about this...

Hmm very interesting point...

I believe, poor or not, people have priorities. Your audience have already established that your product, topic, think niche, etc IS a priority to them.

If the niche exists, it is proof that people will buy. If the niche is for people with less money, and there is a specific product that may be relatively expensive, well there must be a need otherwise that product wouldn't exist.

These are just some thoughts I have... your niche will be relevant, so your audience will find relevance in your products and will want them due to that relevance. Priorities, priorities, priorities.

Hope that made a bit of sense. :)

All the best Bert,
Elsie.

Hello Elsie,

It are indeed some good remarks that you make...
When I combine the reply from electrobot and you: I assume that when you create a site with a really good content that you can offer them services thrue ad revenue and indeed suggesting some products that are really good for their issue can be sold (maybe with the help of somebody else)...

Thks for the feedback, I already getting a better view on the answer of my question...

But still: I think for a newbie as I am, that it is maybe easier to start with another concept first... ;-)

Bert

No problem Bert. Glad to be of service. :)

Yeah, following your gut is fine. :) I'm interested in the niche you were thinking of though. Can you share?

All the best with what you do choose. :)

Another thought: I chose a niche I loved, Muay Thai. But the products aren't the most expensive. Low to mid range. Heavy bags or courses are the most expensive products I could advertise/sell - going for around $300 to $500. But mostly price range is $20 to $100.

So I started a new site designed for a more expensive item - aquariums. These sell much higher and the idea is, hopefully, to receive a higher commission than I would for my Muay Thai niche.

Anyway, all the best, Bert

Hi Elsie,

Of course I can share my idea: actualy I want to create a site where people can go to when they have a social problem like: divorcing (in combination with kids), drug addict, homeless people, depressions,...

But with everything I learned in the meanwhile, I do not think this is a good idea, first of all: I made a combination of several niches and that is not good and I also concluded that these subjects are to complex to start with...

I think I first will start with something simple...

What do you think of a site that is offers: "online shopping with minimum 25% discount"
I have a lot of those offers every day in my mailbox, sometimes untill 86% discount...
So, I think that people will be intersted in this?

Thanks already for all your input!

Greetings,
Bert

Yes, I agree that that first niche is quite full.

The second idea is a great idea! I think that could definitely be worthwhile.

All the best Bert, and thanks for sharing. I agree with your choice haha. Always go with your gut!

Hi Bert. There are many ways to make money from your website. Selling products is just one option. If you produce content and are able to attract interested visitors to your website with that content, you can earn a lot of money from ad revenue. What product ideas or subject matter ideas have you come up with?

Hello Electrobot,
thks for the feedback and I now what you mean with ad revenue, so yes indeed I see immediatly possibilities.
I am really thinks in the direction of a site for people with all kinds of social problems, but I don't think that help care (also not in Europe) will pay a lot of money for ad revenue...
But it is indeed a good idea that you suggested...

Hi Grtz. If you have specific enough content, and you complete the training, you will discover that any topic can generate website traffic. The more traffic to your site, the more you will make from ad revenue. Another thought is that you are targeting a global audience on the Internet. Something that may not be of interest to someone in Europe might be of great interest to someone in another country. Starting out with a good idea is usually the hardest part for me. Talking out loud about ideas has really helped me to think of specific areas of subject matter. What do you like to read about? How do you like to spend your spare time? Answers to these questions could be topics that you could write about and that others may have great interest reading about. You never know. Keep asking yourself questions. I've seen some pick a topic they don't know much about, but is still a topic of interest and/or curiosity to them. They read as much as they can about that topic and then start to write about it. Anyway, just throwing out some ideas. I imagine you'll get lots of comments here and should be able to find something specific that will draw users to your website. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
