I was just about to wrap up a blog post for the WA side. I went to enter a photograph and the whole post disappeared. I had been saving it along the way. It was not only blog post #150 but it was also a tribute to Mike's dad who passed away last week. I don't think I have it in me to write it again! Please help me figure out how to recover it! Thanks, guys!!!

Christine,
So sorry for your loss. My prayers🙏 are with you and your family.

I know I am a little late answering this, but if you saved you blog, it should appear in the blog drafts.

This has happened to me many times and I just go back in like I'm creating a new blog, and you should see that you have unpublished drafts.

Hope this helps or maybe you were able to figure it out.

Thanks, Joe! This one was hard to write. I seriously can't do it again - let alone do it the same level of justice. Crossing fingers!! Christine

*** what a frost! .... that just happened to one of my partial drafts yesterday and tried to do an immediate 'undo' which didn't work either ... lost out there in virtual space ...

... looks like Trish has made some good screenshots for you and hopefully, your post can be found in Drafts ....

.... all the best ... ***

I'm very sorry to hear that, Was the draft fully or even partially autosaved? If so you may be able to recover it. I wish I could tell you how to recover it but there are for sure other members here who can.

I just had a problem of my own come up. After dealing with the frustrations of trying to get wordpress to put things in the places I want them to be and to be easily visible to my website visitors I decided to create a new site and start from scratch. This time following the instructions step by step and reading all of the directions. You probably know that men don't read directions, we just do it.

Anyway after writing a rather lengthy about me page I wanted to publish it to my new site. The options given to me on the site content area only display a publish button. I thought if I clicked the publish button that it would give me the option of selection which website I wanted to publish it to.

BUT NOOOOOOO!

When I clicked on the publish button it published all my hard work to another of my sites. Where I didn't want to put it. Or change the about me page on that site.

Then unless SiteSupport has some magical wand, looks like your blog is lost.

This why I create my posts (no matter where I am posting them) in a Word document first and then copy and paste. Saves frustration, and if you lose your internet connection... poof! you will still have your blog even though you would need to start copying and pasting alllll over again.
