How and where do I cancel my membership as I cannot afford to pay any further monthly Premium fees and am finding it is all too overwhelming for me. I'm not a quitter but it is all way beyond what I want to be doing. I would be quite happy simply being an Affiliate marketer selling products for people on ClickBank or Amazon and earning enough to supplement my govt. funded pension to enable me to have a little money to do things with. This is an awesome site with amazing people, but the content of it all is too much for me. Where is the "Cancel Membership" button please?

Hey guys I just canceled my membership following the video below posted by piseth168. I don't have any regrets of being a premier member but I was actually not using or consuming any of the training. I was getting commissions from two members that I referred so my membership was paying for itself. But now they have cancelled they're membership and I am not using WA's website like I should.

Don't complain about how you want a refund because lack on your part to take the time to learn affiliate marketing. If you are not successful don't hold WA accountable blame yourself for not taking action. I am no different than you I have not gone thru all the training but I have done affiliate marketing in the past and is all about testing testing until you find your winner.

But don't complain because you can find out how to cancel. Most people want things served to them in a silver platter and if you want to have a business you have to go out and find the info.
again here's the link to cancel: One more thing if you can't figure out how to cancel this membership please don't waste your time with any other internet marketing program or course you won't be successful you will be wasting your money time and effort....just get a regular job or drive for Uber, Lyft or Grubhub you don't need much knowledge to do that. There's money to be made in this Affiliate and Internet marketing industry but only 5% of people succeed. Sorry to be sound a little bit arrogant but I am just being 100% real here.

I cancel my paying membership but I'll still be free member here because I think out of all the training programs I have been in WA is the most honest and clear about what they do.

I am crying tears sitting alone, I don't even know where to start. I have been trying to unsubscribe here ever since. It caught me off guard that I just got a bank notification $49 has been deducted from my acc and this money was for buying clothes for my unborn baby. I went to my bank to reverse but I cannot. They told me I swiped my card at about 5am. I am so disappointed. The telling me that they have to open a dispute if I say I didn't do the transaction. I came and opened my emails I then found something that says this amount will be deducted automatically monthly. I am lost of words trying to figure out what will I say I have done with the money.

I have learnt a big painful lesson not to play around with money that's not there. Currently not working and there's this innocent face coming and now the bank has charged for a new card because they see my card as vulnerably.

It would be best to contact Kyle or Carson privately. Maybe they can do something about it.
To cancel your membership, you have to click on the little arrow next to your profile picture.
And then on Account Settings. I am sure you will find it from there.

Kyle just gives you the run around as he gave me my profile link and there is no where on there to cancel only to pay. I have had my bank stop all future payment.

There are 4 steps -
1. Click on your picture in the upper right corner
2. Click on "Account Settings"
3. Click on "Membership"
4. Click on "Stop Billing & Cancel Membership"

Reading about all these people having problems with their attempts to cancel memberships puts fear in my attempt to cancel, but I just submitted 3 attempts to cancel. I figured third time will be a charm. Even used the account settings.

Hello.
You have to cancel your subscription yourself.
If you just write this here they will not read it.

Click on your image on the top right.
Choose "Account Settings", click on "Membership" and click on the button "Stop Billing & Cancel Membership".

Follow the instructions there to cancel your membership.

If you don't do that, the billing continues.

The layout changed since I wrote that comment.
Now you have to click on that small arrow next to your profile picture (top left).
Then on account settings.
There you will find the option to manage or cancel your membership and billing.

I sent a message to Steve from {I've Tried That]. I also sent a message to his partners from Wealthy Affiliate. I explained to them about my situation. Why, I was canceling. I told them, I would return later. I never received a reply from any of them. I canceled about 10 days before billing. Wealthy Affiliate still drew out my $49.00 out of my account anyway. I had to contact my bank. I had to tear up my bank card. I had to make an appointment to fill out paperwork at the bank to get my money returned {pending]. I am very disappointed. Why did they do this? They did not have to do this. I would have returned. Now, I will not return. Again, very disappointed.

You can cancel your membership under Account Settings. You get there by clicking on your profile picture in the upper right corner. Click on Account Settings.

Your Account Settings are divided into 4 categories, which are:
1. General Settings
2. Subscription Settings
3. Account Setup Progress
4. Email Notification Settings

You can cancel your Membership in the second category, Subscription Settings.

See the line saying "Membership"? Go to the right of this line and click on "Manage".

There will be two options. Either Upgrade your Membership or Stop Billing & Close Account.

By clicking on "Stop Billing & Close Account", you'll cancel your membership.

If you run into any issues, regarding closing your account, you'll have to contact Kyle or Carson via Private Messaging or create a Support Ticket.

If you have paid/have been making payment via PayPal, you would have to log into PayPal as well and cancel the recurring payment.

I have been trying to unsubscribe since for the last 2 week and cannot see where the option to do this is. Do not remove any money from my account which has been thrown into overdraw. The simple fact that there is no unsubscribe details make this a way of scamming people for their money. You harass us until we finally give in under pressure by you to join and yet there is no allowance to unsubscribe. Well done chaps! Absolute theft of our money. This is a scam. This is not the end!

When you're a starter member you can't cancel - you don't have a 'subscription'. Just don't use it. Unsubscribe from receiving emails from WA in your email box. :) Beverley

I see others have answered the where to cancel question. It does take a lot of work to get and keep up a blog website. Perhaps you are thinking more along the lines of having affiliate product landing pages, and doing email marketing? Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

If its any consolation, I spent most of my Easter break reading and re-reading and listening to some of the lessons. I felt a bit like Alice falling down a rabbit hole, a bit overwhelmed, but I'm really enjoying it and the quality of the lessons are superb.

Yes mam no problem at all your picture reminds me very much of my precious Gramma Georgia! She's a super pretty lady. Concerning the cancel button you will find it by clicking account settings which is at the bottom of this page on the left hand side. Once there you will be looking for the area that say's subscription settings and then manage which is on the membership line to your right. Hi there nzkiwi, so sorry to see you go but I can understand the feeling of being totally overwhelmed and drowned in information. Before you go let me just encourage you along these lines. The way I personally have decided to go with this journey at Wealthy Affiliate is to look at the whole experience just as if I were attending the local university or an online version for that matter. I've given myself permission to simply take my sweet time and go as slowly as I need to fully grasp and absorb the content as I go and implement only when I feel comfortable doing so. If you bite off one small thing at a time and get laser focused on that one item and complete each task accordingly before moving to anything else like me you will sense a greater peace in the process of setting up your business. This is why Kyle and Carson have created the different lessons with their respective phases so that we can move along nice and slow and actually be able to enjoy the journey.
