I was reading Kaju's article, which you can see in the link below about replying to every comment and more!

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jetrbby80316/blog/my-top-21-list-and-beyond

I'm aware that most of us receive lots of replies and comments from our blog posts and questions and I always like to try and reply to every single one of you. However, I am aware that sometimes I miss your comments, not deliberately, I would like to know the best way to not miss a comment.

So my real question is, how do I never miss a comment at Wealthy Affiliate as I would like to respond to every comment?

Thank you for reading.

Enjoy your day.

Roy

Hi Roy the easiest way is to check your notifications by clicking the bell on your dashboard.
Going to your profile~ account settings ~ email notifications ~ edit ~ check the notifications that you want to receive ~ save, and you will be good to go. Doing this will notify you when someone comments on a post, likes a comment or responds to a comment.

Thanks Alex, this does sound like a plan.

Thank you for taking time to reply Alex, I do appreciate it. Just recently I've been using the bell rather than going to my emails and I think going to the bell is probably easier. I still have the email notifications turned on, but I think I may have to turn the emails off soon as I'm just getting so many.

Enjoy your weekend and kindest regards,

Roy

Hello Trish, thank you for taking time to comment, I do appreciate it. I should have actually put in my question that I was referring to Wealthy Affiliate blog comments etcetera rather than WordPress comments! I think many of us receive so comments that it is difficult to keep up with them all.

Enjoy your day.

Hey Roy,

You're so right, this does make a difference to my answer. I have my "New Reply" and "Great news" setup to go in one folder and "New Questions" go into another. I prefer to address my "New Reply" folder first.

Hope this helps you.

Thank you, Trish, for taking the time to answer my question, I do appreciate it. Now, this sounds like a good idea, I am on Gmail and I'm guessing that you are using Outlook which gives a few more options I believe? Maybe I will set my Outlook up to take my Gmail account.

Enjoy your weekend.

I'm using Outlook on my computer for this (not my online outlook), yes.

Looks like you've gotten some really good answers, Roy.
I try to respond to everyone, just as you do. I do try to take care of my e-mails first thing every morning, and then right before I go to bed. That has been helping me some. But I've only got about 300 followers. I have no idea what members do who have 3 and 4 thousand followers.
Just do your very best,
Wendi

Thank you for taking the time to comment Wendi, I think when you have lots of followers the number of replies become huge and there are only so many that you can respond to any given time.

I think I will just have to carry on and reply to as many as possible in a given time.

Enjoy your day.

That's right. We just have to do our best. I guess there's no 'right' or 'wrong' way. Just what works best for each of us.
All the best, Roy.

Roy, as you may be aware this is something that concerns me greatly, I personally try to answer all comments, follows, questions etc, but the time that it is now taking to reply to over 100 mails, is just too much, as it stops the work on my training and site. Presently trying to clear the decks totally ready for a rethink. Some good replies though.

I hear you Stuart, I do like to reply to people but sometimes it is just not possible to answer all the comments.

Enjoy your day.

Hello Stuart,

I'm glad I cheered you up, it is always good to make someone happy rather than the other way! It's good that you are very active on Wealthy Affiliate Stuart and good that you want to be doing something, I have just read your profile! I'm sure that your time in the RAF must've been a very interesting and a very worthwhile experience. It's great that you're helping out with the British Legion, such a great cause I believe.

Enjoy your weekend.

Hey Roy
Stay on top of your email daily.
Make a habit of checking it each morning and at least before bed.
It may be take your time but so did the person who wrote the comment spent time is the way I look at it.

Tried and True

Thank you for your reply Elaine. I'm actually getting around 300 emails a day from Wealthy Affiliate, it takes long time to go through every single email, but I will try and go through them to the best of my ability!

Enjoy your day.

When I go to my email, I check the Wealthy Affiliates mail, then move it to a special file for later. Then I go through the emails one by one and respond to each one.

Hey Roy, as you become busier and the comments and replies become overwhelming. What I have begun to do is reply to as many as I possible can going form top to bottom, especially if the person has put a lot of thought into their comment. As I am reading and replying to the comments I have started clicking the "like" button as I finish replying to a comment, and if I am not going to reply I click it after I've read their comment. This helps me know where I am, even if I have to come back to finish. Plus, and I don't know if this is the proper way to utilize the "like" button, but even if I don't reply to the comment, at the other person has been acknowledged that it has been read...

Good question Roy, which Kim has a good answer for and its the way I do mine

I use Gmail and have filtered out the WA notifications, so I don't miss any and all get replied to.

I always make a point of replying to each days notifications

In your WA account settings, under Notification settings, tick all the boxes that have the word "comments" in them...lol. You will be sent an email to let you know each time. ~Jude

Check your Comments every day. I also pay particular attention to the date the Comment was submitted. It helps me to stay on top of it
