This morning an update was installed for the Alexandria theme and now the formatting bar on the Pages screen is gone and I cannot enter text on the Visual tab. Anyone having this problem too and can help me. I sent a ticket to Support but did not get any solution from them.

You can activate another theme, then delete this theme completely, upload it again, and activate it again

I have done this before, and it came out right, I understand it when you are not comfortable with this, but when anything would go wrong, WA has a complete back-up from your website

Thanks Digger12. I de-activate my plugins and deleted some I no longer need but the page screen sporadically drops the formatting. This is leading me to believe the update of the theme may be causing the issue.

Hi you can try this and see if one of the solutions helps, it has helped me a couple of times when I had the same problem
