I am preparing my tutorial for tomorrow. It will present ways to manage being overwhelmed, especially by all the information that seems to be thrown at you within WA.

Some Members find it very difficult to navigate and find a solid footing.

Do you have that experience?

If you do, please share what you find most overwhelming.

Thank you for your support.

My biggest frustration at the moment is within WA, offering help, promising to get back to someone later, and somehow losing the contact and not being able to find them. When I make a promise I like o keep it. If someone uses a PM it is easy to find them. If the contact is not via PM it seems to be quite tricky to find them.

I think I can undersatnd what happens here, Richard.
It is difficult to tag comments.

I will give this some thought.

Thank you Cassi. Each time I have eventually found them but only when either they or someone else has commented.

If you remember their user name you can enter it in the gray search bar and the top, then you can to to their personal profile page and send them a PM

Thank you Jeff ... I apreciate your advice ...
the following is not a criticism of WA there's an enormous amount going on here...
it would be great if there was a way of somehow tagging conversations or even better, of taking personal notes within the WA system. A personal note facility could also be very useful for noting things to remember within the training. Is there a standard way to feed such ideas into the WA organisation for consideration?

A good idea, Richard.
Perhaps a PM to Kyle or Carson?

Richard you can bookmark a post you want to come back to by going to the top of the post and clicking the star and adding a tag you will remember. When you want to retire it or peruse anything else you have saved, simply go to the dark grey bar at the top and click on the star at the far right!

FYI ... I made the suggestion to Kyle who said there use to be a notes facility but it didn’t do what was wanted so was removed. He says he hopes to add a better solution ‘when the site moves to a new platform’.

I am overwhelmed with all the very useful trainings in WA, because I wish to learn them all but I feel I have no more time to go back and review it. I admit I have not fully understood everything and I know how important they are but I am so overwhelmed with the great numbers which is not all of them i have taken yet, so far we have already 647 trainings in WA, and that is only by Kyle, Carson, and Jay and if we add all in all including the trainings from our fellow members, we have thousands of trainings therefore, training is what overwhelmed me much. Thanks Cassi for your wonderful post that made me find myself if which is overwhelming me.

I'd rather be OVERwhelmed than UNDERwhelmed, Francisco!

I think the major problem is taking on too much at times, it's the your eyes are bigger than your stomach type of attitude that prevails a lot. WA members cannot keep up with this platform of responding to all the questions and posts in their emails and maintain multiple sites simultaneously. Writing posts to your WA sites should be your primary objective and the remaining posts and questions on this platform answered when you have time. I feel it's mostly about bad planning more than anything else.

I could not agree more, Joe!

There is also the competitive human ego that feeds on recognition. A behaviour characteristic of groups and communities.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Cassi,

Even with my experience with website making, coming here to WA was like walking into the proverbial 'candy store'. So much to see and do, and where do I start first....?

Yes, process the info before moving on is my mantra, without it, I fall prey to the shiny and the squirrel trap. Sometimes, I think a little guidance is helpful to keep me, and those like me, on track.

Looking forward to see your training..

This resonates for me, Rudy:
"Even with my experience with website making, coming here to WA was like walking into the proverbial 'candy store'."

You have described it SO well!

I agree that processing is imperative.

Thank you for your feedback and confidence.

Your face is overwhelming my lady only in a good way!! ; haha

Forgive me couldn't resist!! ;

As if the WA many opinions and views were not overwhelming enough it's yet another matter in the outside world where it is a whole different ball game altogether where an infinite number assail you with the same differences and views on very complex matters for a non techie like me with coding or the wide array of programs, plug ins, methods, techniques etc.

Anyway trust your training will help guide many!! ;

Have a good day!
