When I started at WA, I used Chrome. I could never get my formatted spacing to work properly in my blog posts or comments I left. The other problem is that when I hit the comma key, and only the comma key, on my keyboard this is what is still happening..

I'll try and upload another picture -

As you can see, it doesn't just affect my blog when I hit the comma, it affects the WHOLE page. Yesterday it happened in G+, when I was going to leave a comment. Not good.

The only way to get rid of the gold framed boxes is to hit the comma key again, as the screen freezes until I do. When I use Firefox, it doesn't happen. And here's the proof, lot's of commas being used! I'd like to use Chrome again.

I've cleared cookies, cache, changed keyboards way back. At first I thought it was just at this site, but after getting it in G+ yesterday, I'm clueless. BTW, I frequently get the message "Chrome has stopped working" and I have to restart/restore it and my tabs again. Firefox is not as good for me in Australia as it used to be. It's slower.

Can anybody help me to get Chrome working again on my computer, please?

Thank you all!

P.S Added note after a couple of replies below. I re-installed twice a couple of months ago, and it didn't help. Trying to avoid re-installation again, due to getting my tool bar fitted out again the way I like it. Will re-install after doing another cache, etc clear out, if no other suggestions. 3rd time lucky maybe??!

So sorry Annie! If you feel forced to uninstall Chrome again, you might uninstall firefox too. I have heard of rare instances where browsers cause each other problems, Just re-install Chrome by itself and see if anything better happens. I'm sure you have the latest version. Have you tried a different keyboard? Stranger things have happened. I so hope this resolves for you!

Firefox has been "dodgy" since version 25 or so. Crashing and what not. Years ago it was brilliant. Firefox and google toolbar - best combo ever. I've got only a couple of add ons to Firefox as I'm wary of them causing issues. Chrome, quite a bit, though I haven't added any on for a year or so. Tried the keyboard dance twice! It's strange, Terea.

I loved it and started using it after Firefox got up to around version 25. After Firefox got to version 25, it didn't seem to work so good. Chrome is faster.

Thx for reply Joe. I've amended my post to say I've tried re-installation twice - didn't work. Will try it again after clearing out cookies, etc if no other options.
