Hi, if you want to chance it and correct , at least back up your site. You can use AIO Migration or Updraft.
However, although this is a theme error and whether you are receiving support from the developer, it is worth a try asking support if you could help with a resolution.

I am having trouble in wordpress. I want to add a welcome sidebar instead of a static page. I have been provided instructions from the theme provider of my blog (T
Suggestion: You may want to add your code inside the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme.
It seems the code you have is trying to inject PHP where it doesn't belong which is inside an HTML container, though I could be wrong because the screenshot image is too small to read the corrupt text.
I just opened one image in a different window. I was able to blow it up and see better. Still somewhat blurry, but way more visible. Not sure if you are able to do the same, but thanks for your reply.

I tried but my eyesite is poor because of my diabetes. I need another set of glasses and I just got these in February.
