I'm baaack (5 year anniversary post)

Hello fellow affiliates!

Some of you may remember me, I'm sure plenty of you don't. I used to be very active here a few years back and slowly tapered away over time. I got my guitar site, https://thebestguitarlessons.com. up off the ground and earning a decent income all thanks to what I learned here. While one of my main goals is still to set up an LLC for it, as well as my other AM ventures, last year was a massive wake up call for me. After filling out my taxes and realizing I spent almost 10x more than I earned on my site in 2017, I realized it was time to get my act together.

Step 1 was to migrate my site to HTTPS, which is about 70% complete. I just have to comb through some content and it will be set.

Step 2 is start posting again, which I plan to start doing this weekend. The goal is 3 posts per week, but I'm setting the initial bar lower with 1 a week.

I started here 5 years ago while in college because I knew part time McDonals work wasn't going to pay my tuition. Thanks to what I learned here I got a job in SEM right out of school and then SEO right after that. I owe so much to what I learned here over the years so that's why I am making it a point to give back double what I get from this site.

If anyone just getting started has SEO questions please feel free tor each out, either by comment, private message or in chat. I'm going to do my best to create more trainings as well.

I hope that I come to build relationships with you all just as I did 5 years ago. And I hope there are some of my old friends still kickin around here.
