I'm trying to find my site's home directory but don't know where to look.
Can anyone help?
I am just going to suggest to you; try asking Magistudios and MarionBlack. They can help. For each of them; just look up each name separately in the search engine here on WA; and look each up one at a time. They can help. Hope this helps?
Are you talking about the menu and home page? If so, the following can help: Creating Custom Menus on Your Website https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-create-a-custom-homepage-in-wordpress/

Hey, does anyone know where to find a site's home directory?

What's your goal with finding the home directory. I'm not sure what you're referring to, but if I know what result you're trying to get, then I might be able to help!
Thanks for the reply, I'd like to go more into the technical stuff as I learn and I'd need to access things like the css/html for the site to make some changes. I want to utilize a multi site network so I can post to 2 different pages/blogs under one domain name.
Ah, I see what you're getting at now. For CSS and HTML changes, I'd use FTP. Edit Website Files Via FTP Which FTP client you use, and which OS you're running may change your exact setup, but that's the general process.
In terms of creating subdomains, you can do that within SiteDomains. Subdomain on Your Own Dot Com Website I hope that helps Daneille!

@thelungdoc got a solution for you. You can use any image resizing tool to resize the image by resolution(pixels) or size(length x width).
The 4 standard sizes in WordPress are:
- Thumbnail size (150px square)
- Medium size (maximum 300px width and height)
- Large size (maximum 1024px width and height)
- Full size (full/original image size you uploaded)

If you want to resize your image without cropping, the best place I have found is here =>
https://picresize.com/
It is a free site to resize any image size; then you can save the resized image back to your computer.
Dave.
My husband would usually go into his Photoshop software and adjust it but I have heard that you can also put it on Canva and edit it there too.
He has been doing photos most of his life. So check out Photoshop as this seems to have the most features that perfect your own photos before loading to your article. You should be able to shrink it down and still keep good clarity.
