Thanks for responding, Patrick. I checked and your sites´ pages actually load pretty quick. Smooth site design too. Wanted to leave a comment but couldn´t find where I could do that on your site.
Would you mind checking my site for speed? https://www.simpleincomecreation.com

I don't pay a lot of attention to the plugin thing myself. I moved my sites over to WA in December and have more than 5. You can check your site's response time with this handy little link.

It will send you a report after the testing. Very handy. Alanna
Hi Alanna, thanks much for the handy tool. I did the test right away and only the mobile speed is not so good at 72/100. So, I requested their detailed and free report with tips on how to fix speed.
Guess what? The first tip in the report is to avoid plugins. I´ll look into it further tomorrow.

Oops, I lost my note on how to empty the cache in the Google Chrome browser without losing my logins. For example, in the Firefox browser is a button in Tools where I click to
Hey Tessa,
Have you tried searching through YouTube videos for help? Many times, the help we seek is out there on the internet already. Using Search to Find What You Want
Press CTRL-H
On the History page click "Clear Browsing Data"
On the Clear Browsing Data dialog box select the things you want to clear. Most people will just want to select "Cookies and other site plugin data" and "Cached images and files"
Make sure that the "Obliterate the following items from" option has "the beginning of time" selected
Click "Clear browsing data"
That's it.
If you go up in the upper right corner an click on the 3 little dots it will drop down. Click on tools then clear browsing data. That's it. :)
Thanks, Elwin, that cleans out everything, though. I thought there was a shortcut for emptying just the cache. Just can´t remember what it was.

Hi fellow WA-ers,
The issue has been solved. No need to fetch. Jovo/jvranjes´ training Duplicate Content Issues was enlightening.
*****</
There is no issue with duplicate in principle. I cannot see your post until it is indexed and ranked. So if I copy it, it can only be after you. So whoever said it is protected by Fetch, was not telling facts.
Now, Fetch is not compulsory. It only tells Google. hey here is my new post, so it will be indexed faster. Kyle says he never uses this option. But indeed I have posts ranked within minutes. It makes sense if you make updates.
How to Fetch: Webmaster, Crawl, Fetch.
About duplicate: If I copy your post, I CAN rank. This is explicit statement by Mueller from Google, see in my training. Duplicate content issues
Thanks much for your extensive reply, Jovo. Saves me a lot of fetching work. Now I shall go read your Duplicate Content Issues training.
From the training, I understand that Google indexes and/or fetches published stuff anyway just takes a bit longer. So why bother if it is nothing to do with protection against plagiarism?
I have heard:
"The more you know, the more you know that you don't know."
It's in a way my 'personal philosophy' now.
Very applicable here, Gautam. One minute you learn something new in WA, the next minute you´re so confused and know nothing lol

Hey all,
THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED and I have the green lock showing on my https website now. Also, Kyle explains about the WA website still being ht
Yeah, the homepage is not https yet. This is a very careful process we need to go through to switch this to https, but you can absolutely link from your site to http pages. This will not impact anything and you shouldn't be changing links.
You should only be changing hotlinking to images (insecure items) and widgets. Normal links should not be changed to https because if the site is not https, they simply will not work any longer.
Thanks, Kyle, that´ll save a lot of time! But what about the internal links? Change them or not?
Your own website internal links should automatically be changed.
All your old http:// links are also properly redirected as well.
Wow! I put the SSL switch back to http, and then back again to https and this time no more encircled ¨i¨, but the green lock. So it is working perfectly now, including the http links, widget and pictures. This is really wonderful *S

Hi folks,
I had read jvranjes´ training on keywords in images in WordPress (See image below).
The file name in this case is beerglass.png If that's not the name you want it to be then you have to change it on your computer before you upload it into your media library. Find it in your computer, right-click and select Rename. Do not change the extension (.png .jpg or whatever) or it won't work any more.
If you go to your dashboard and click on media - Library then click on an image you will see the image file name in the upper right hand corner.
I attached an image showing the file name.
You are looking directly into the media library. Click add media in a post and then select the image and look to your right and wallah.
