Hello,
Actually the post page like you call it is the homepage of the website.
The get started page is a real page where the post page is not.
you can see an example here: http://howsingleadultsbuyahouse.com/
First you see the post page, then you see in the menu at the top of the page a menu with some real pages and in this case the getting started page is even on the second place...
The reason for this is the scheme you use, but I never saw a scheme until now without a post page (I did not see more then 15 scheme's so it can exist).
And if you really want to get rid of the post page, I think you have to adapt the scheme completely in the PHP files, but that is something I would not immediately recommend.
Another option is to create a post on your post page with the content you want on your home page and in the post options, you select "sticky post" so it always be the first post people see..
I hope this helps you a little bit...
Grtz,
Bert

Hi
Not sure if I totally understand your problem but if you have your blogs on your home page - this is simply an option that can be switched on or off.
Go to your site and the dashboard. From here - select customize your site. Go to Static Home Page - select static page and then enter the page you wish to have as the main page.
You can then nominate a page that will have your blogs on it.
Hope this helps.

trying to sign up for an affiliate program to add to my site. they are asking for company name and tax id #? do i need these to use the affiliate? should i try to find somethi
Nice to know and thanks for the question. That is also my question and discussions like this would help me too find an an alternate solution or an alternate company to partner with. All the best.
Your company name is your name,
unless you have a company name.
Your tax id# is your social security
number. However unless you have
researched this company and are
comfortable with this arrangement.
I would find something else, :D

built my site but its still empty. do i need to upgrade to complete it? what do i do when finished course1
It's well worth upgrading if you are prepared to put the time in. Bear in mind that you likely won't start earning revenue straight away, however the training will help you to utilize the best methods related to your niche.
I wasn't sure about upgrading but my site wouldn't be half as good if I hadn't. I also wouldn't be able to review traffic to my site or get feedback from the community.
ive definately thought about it. just a bit tough spending more after wasting so much $ the past 2 days on similar products.however i already am waay further ahead with this tho. was too confused to even get started with the others. the training videos here are great
If this is the first level of Certification Courses, there is also Bootcamp Corse 1 with 10 lessons which is free. But your site should not be empty, you should already be able to publish posts and pages.
i got the about me, privacy policy and stuff in there. whats next? check out the boot camp?
You can add as many pages to your site as you wish. Use the keyword tool to find good keywords related to your niche and use those to get a list of pages and content you may want to add. It's better to have a list rather than adding lots of pages now, only to take them down later on because they don't fit or you don't like the layout.
ok.now i remember hearing that in the video. started this 7 this morn. was a lot to take in in a day (; thx
I found that you can comfortably complete 2 or 3 lessons each day, but it's a good idea to read/watch the training more than once. I re-did the first course twice so that I completely understood everything.
There is plenty more to learn with the rest of the courses, plus course 1 of bootcamp is free as well. Be careful to pace yourself though, or you'll miss some important info ;)
thx. not rushing...just very bored. off work quite a while and hurtin' too so this has been a nice break. good way to fill the day (;
