Ok so I have been having this problem:
I have been unable to do a few things with private message such as:
1) Unable to start a new message
2) Unable to PM someone
This has happened to me before when the page does not load completely. I'm guessing this has to do with internet connection or with browser issues.
What browser are you using? Is it updated?
Are you able to contact support?
Tried with different browser plus my mobile and I'm facing this issue still. So i'll tick browser issue off. Already updated to latest browser.
Tried with various internet connection and still the same thing.
Hopefully support can help me because they don't seem to be responding well to me at the moment.
Quick update, for the 3rd time sending in help and I got the right support guy that immediately fixed it.
I had the same problem yesterday and the day before. I was at work and thought something was blocked perhaps. I have not tried it from home yet to see if it is an different. I could write a message but it would not send. I tried many times over two days. I had not encountered this previously and had sent messages from the same computer before.

Same here! Suddenly this problem surfaced and i am unable to do PM functions properly now. Probably gotta pm support again soon
My issue is with #3....this guy has a mini bar?!? I didn't know we had that feature. I've been buying my beer.
Have you tried different devices? Desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet. Different IP address (go to your local MacDonalds or library).
Support are usually pretty good with things like this, I would follow up with them again :-)

If you fail to get a satisfactory answer, contact support again.
And again.
And again.
And that's how I solved it over a period of a week.

For anyone using the yoast plugin, for some reason I am unable to find the gear icon on pages to do a nofollow and noindex.
The option to do it for posts
Nope, just purely Yoast now. I don't think it's a plugin conflicting issue considering that I turned everything off except Yoast and the problem is still there. Could be something with a recent update though, not too sure there.
Did you check "screen options" to see if you have a section of the Yoast plugin not showing?
Damn it Nathaniell, you're a genius lol. Feels stupid when you realize the solution is just in your face.
Yeah, and that's after switching different themes, plugins, messing with complex options to find out the solution being simple - Bleh. Just wondering how it got unchecked when I don't even remember messing with it. Anyway thanks again!

It looks like some redirect plugin.
Are your Yoast settings under Pages though?
For some reason, Yoast just doesn't show up on my pages. When I'm creating a new post, I actually see it. Below is a picture of my recent post, with the yoast settings there. That's why I'm wondering what's going on

If you want to change the name of your site in the browser tab, that's done in the All in One SEO settings in your site title.
If you want to change an individual post title in the browser tab, that'd done on THAT page, in the All in One SEO Meta Title area.
I believe you are looking for the first one. Let me know if that works for you.
