First you should get into the step by step training and learn more about Wealthy Affiliate and the opportunities they offer. Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started Level 1 Get involved with the community and get a feel for the platform.

Then ask yourself if you want to start an online business and if this is what you have been asking for. Then start building.

For me, I was not skeptical but cautious...that this won't be another shiny object again to hook myself to. What is worrisome to me is the daunting task ahead, the amount of work I need to put in order for it to work, but when I saw the level of support in this vast community I felt relieved. My hope was alive again that internet marketing is the correct path to financial freedom...that remains to be seen until I put those hard work into the right place.

You will never see anyone at WA promise a get rich quick scheme. You and only you will decide how much money you make as a member of WA. The training, tools, and community are all here at your disposal. It's up to you to decide how you want to use it.

I sincerely believe if you follow the training and have a positive approach going into this, you will succeed.

This is not a scam, for sure. You get quality training here. However, you need to do a lot of work. The main thing is to create lots of quality content on your website. You need to be very productive. The tools here will help you, but you need to do the writing.

You don't need to upgrade to Premium, but it certainly will give your business a boost. WA have not changed the price of their premium in a number of years, they offer incredible value. When you have free membership your website is hosted by WA, this can slow down your ranking with Google. When you go Premium and buy your own domain, it is a .com address and google like this. The Premium gives you better access to all the training and tools, however, the core training is the same for everyone. After you go Premium, the only other money you will be asked to spend is for your domain address, which is in the region of $13 - 15 a year. Start for free and look at Premium when you are ready.

WA gives you the tools - but YOU need to do all the work (until you come to a point when you can outsource content)

Yes, it is suggested you go premium and this is always a great idea if you are serious about learning all the skills to help you create and build a truly successful online business.
Investing a small amount in yourself and your business is all part of owning a business
What I suggest you do is this
Go through a few lessons and see if you like what you are learning and then if you really want to go for it, go premium and all the doors will open to you
