Ted's Personal Blog
Just wanted to share a little about my initial struggles with getting up and running with WA. The picture above just about wraps it up. My rank number is currently 55,759. I started on 26 March 2021, but I had to take April off because we were hit with a tropical cyclone which knocked the internet for 28 days. My website 'todayinindonesia.com now has 3 blogs. Please check it out and give me any feedback you wish. I have sent it to the WA Feedback about 2 days ago but no one has responded yet. Perhaps it's there but I did not see it yet.
I had difficulty finding my niche and had many ideas for blogs in the beginning. I first started with the site 'nutrient-needs-for-seniors.siterubix.com' but then realized it would be getting technical and I did have the expertise in this area. Then I bought the site 'moralchristian.com' and was going to do a site on prayer and giving support to religious organizations to help them earn income for their operations and programming, but that didn't get started yet and has been put on the back burner.
Then I bought the site 'todayinindonesia.com' with the idea to build a travel website to support tourism in Indonesia where I live. As COVID was still a big concern worldwide, I would not expect much income from this site for at least a year. There are also many travel sites that cover accommodation and tours even to the smallest hotel-losman and towns in the remotest parts of Indonesia. So there's a lot of competition.
So I put that idea on hold, and am now using the same site to focus on providing information to help people prepare for travel to any and all tropical countries, and to give them advice on appropriate clothing and footwear for the tropics, health care products, sports and outdoor equipment, travel guides, electronic gadgets, etc. etc,. I opened an account with Amazon and will give advice to viewers on the best quality products and direct them to Amazon. These items could be used for travel within their own countries as well.
In the near future I also hope to present other affiliate programs on my site pages to encourage people to stay longer and hopefully buy more. In this way I hope to earn income a little quicker.
I am still having major difficulty understanding how to select the best Keywords and Key Phrases using Jaaxy. It seems every time I suggest something I get zero monthly searches, zero estimated traffic and zero QSR; and the phrases that have low QSR and high traffic are not suitable for my specific topic. It's been a big challenge. I have found the training on Jaaxy to be incomplete thus far, so I expressed myself to Kyle and Carson on this and hope they can create a new tutorial videos. If not then I will look outside of WA for an instructional video. We live or die based on the keyword or key phrases that give us the highest ranking in Google.
Overall I am very happy with the WA family and am glad I joined. It will take time, but eventually I am sure I will be able to make WA affiliate marketing work for me.
Thanks to all who have given me support thus far.
