I read the four-hour workweek by Timothy Ferris,
He talks in his book about hiring people who work in countries where a tiny wage can make a huge difference in peoples
Thank you for the suggestion, you have all been lovely.
I clicked on that link and was greeted with a message "this content is only available to those on a yearly payment option"
I am very upset because I was told there is only one level of upgrade when in fact there is another level of upselling. I know its not your fault but I feel disappointed and lied to.
Hello from Nottingham! The cost of even a "cheap" proofreader can soon add up, so it's not advised to head down this route until you start seeing some income from your website.
If you would still like to do this you can find service providers on the likes of Fiverr.com, but I wouldn't suggest you commit to a long-term contract until you have judged the quality of their work.
If what you have written above, is typical of your work, then I don't think you have any major problems with your content anyway. It doesn't have to be perfect, it's not like writing a school essay!
Hi Teckling, it is true that hiring a Virtual Assistant in India, Philippines etc can be "cheap" but I would not advise that route if you are just at the start of your online journey.
Do you have any family members or perhaps a friend who could proof read for you then once you progress and actually start to earn from your efforts you would be able to look at outsourcing.
Andy
Thank you, Andy, for my first response to my first question!
I have tried the friends and family route for things like job applications in the past with mixed results. They tend to print things off, write on them with a pen and hand them back still buggy then when the corrections are done they print it off again and find more bugs.
I really need someone who can log into Wordpress, edit saved content and then hit publish.
I am not going to use a VA from day 1, but eventually, my dyslexia will become an obstacle to be overcome and a long term solution will need to be firmly in place with the year.
Also, a good VA can be told to read up on a subject and write about it, which is kinda priceless.
The pain I am trying to save my self is trying a bunch of people out before finding a good one. I hope someone here has already done that work!

Did you find help for this? I would suggest trying Grammarly --the free version is good; premium has some nice parts, but free should help with what you need.
